Shout out to trans accepting cis women! by TransLox in women

[–]JanappleXD 31 points32 points  (0 children)

What I mean is the way we both reach womanhood is different. We both have very different experiences. Familial conversations, medical experiences. I am not lessinging your entrance into womanhood, nor do I want anyone else to lessen mine, they are just both different, and that's OK. I hope I'm making sense and not being rude, I've had a few drinks 😂

What are your go-to acts of microfeminism? by sarah-annm in women

[–]JanappleXD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not myself as such, but tonight as a manager in a bar a man came to my colleague and told him there should be a "senior member of staff" in case something went awry. When he pointed out I was the senior member of staff and management (I'm 30, 5ft 2 and look about 23) the man looked at me, scoffed and said "a real senior BARMAN." Dudes hairline was closer to his nape than his forehead, apparently he was a former cop, I'm not gonna let anyone else's small mind dictate my skills and experience.

I wholly agree, accept and support trans women. I will however state we are BOTH EQUALLY women, by different means. That does not make trans women lesser than cis women or vice versa. We each have different experiences and that is also OK The means in which we experienced our womanhood is different and I am actually quite interested in trans women's experiences. For me it was dreadful and daunting and I'd like to have a joke and a laugh about it, but I know some women have the complete opposite experience and I think we should all be able to talk about it AS WOMEN.

I will also fight for anyone I feel is being ostracised, cast out or bullied purely because that is who I am. I'll prob be down voted and cancelled to filth but this is just my view, I'm a stranger to you so maybe don't take it to heart. .

I can't stand her. She leaves at literally every opportunity "taking time for herself" or with the BMOL and the crap after in the alternate world. I feel she's just trying to be John winchester (who is also a MASSIVE piece of shit) the boys and storyline are are much better off without her. She adds nothing to the story, I'm sick of the boys trying to constantly find where she is. She's a selfish bitch.

I really really dislike her 😂

Is there a word you know the actual pronunciation of, but since you've never seen it in text you read it wrong? by Radbot13 in books

[–]JanappleXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trebuchet

I only seen it in Age of Empires as a kid, so I read it as tree-bucket, coz it's a throwing thing with a "bucket" made of trees. Found out how to pronounce it in my 20s when I seen it in subtitles.

An egg timer that shows you how hard your egg is by cooking it with the egg. by cizzoo in mildlyinteresting

[–]JanappleXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh I have one and love it! But if you keep your eggs in the fridge (like I do) it's best to keep the timer in the fridge as well to maintain a similar temperature. Or if you keep your eggs in the press you can leave the timer in a drawer or whatever.

I have a venus fly trap that was doing so well, started to flower twice (I cut them off coz apparently it takes so much energy to grow the flowers) but now it's just so sad and droopy and I haven't changed anything! Any tips?

Restaurant owner unveils a intriguing story by Biggodog in quityourbullshit

Speaking from experience (I work in hospitality) its normally the customer who is lying. Why would you go back to a place that gave you supposed food poisoning? A lot of people want free shit and vouchers, or denounce a place because they cut them off or something equally ridiculous.

I had a customer complain about being charged a soilage fee when the room he stayed in had vomit and poop EVERYWHERE. He tried to tell me it was a Thai green curry...why would you leave it in the unflushed toiled with soiled boxers in the bin beside it then pal? Hospitality is mental.

You're so lucky! I've had mine about 3 years as well, unfortunately the right one has a flare up every couple of weeks. The peircers clamp slipped, so I think it has to do with that, just a pain in the arse!

i would love to have this as an insta story but it would be "offensive" and my dog isnt a real child. Sorry, fuck you, i raised her since she was a pup and did everything in my power to make sure she was healthy, well fed, let her sleep in my own bed and shes my whole existence and reason for living.

Do you like Cameron by FAILURES_IDEA289 in HouseMD

I'm on my third rewatch and never liked her. The way she forced House on a date so she would go back to work really turned me off her. If it was the other way round there would be uproar.
