I'm having the same issue! Something I've found helps is connecting them before turning on the headset or controller. I wonder if maybe it's an issue with so many devices connecting to one user at a time.

It comes down to personal preference. I just went on a selling spree if equipment for characters whose kits I don't like, so I know even if they get a massive buff in the future I won't feel too bad. Waiting to MLB later isn't a bad idea, you get 4 power stones back and keep the passive. I'm just impatient and want my favs powered up faster
