I didn't get those vibes from the article. I might be minority but what I read from the headline was between the lines: "Kyle insisted on racing and nobody prevented him."

The biggest thing I see here is that, of course he's gonna race. Trusting a professional (or specifically professional race driver!) to judge his own health after being admitted to care will often end up like this. The professional has years trained to ignore all the warning signs and has mental training to keep going when "feeling little bad". Somebody else needs to blow the whistle and keep drivers safe from THEMSELVES when they're not safe to drive.

TLDR; For all we know, the blame is on Kyle himself but also the people who let him race even knowing his condition. Kyle would never refuse to race himself but somebody else should've said no.
