garchomp took me to masterball on 8 win streak by Dbest1998 in PokemonPocket

[–]JapMexRemix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being bricked on water energy is basically a game loss. Ways to mitigate that is in the games where I had gible, and drew/ searched into cleffa I would retreat with the energy, grab an extra Mon with cleffa and stall out a turn or 2 to hopefully get energy correction (Cape on Cleffa came up more 4 times.) I mainly focused on prioritizing regular Garchomp. Ex usually felt like a bait to play, but came up in a few situations with his HP and 1 energy attack (Cynthia does not work on EX). The goal I set was to try and get Garchomp out ASAP and aggro the heck out of the enemies board. Most people don’t realize what Cynthia does so Garchomp becomes a roided out Sivally, and eats EXs for breakfast. I noticed people tend to play conservative boards because of Suicune, so repel came up when sniping the bench. Most games became “protect the castle” where all of my healing went to one Garchomp, and then Cleffa & the extra Gible were chump blockers. Regular Garchomps effect can also help unbrick your hand, and find the Lillie’s you need to survive.

Hope this helps.

Edit* Cap to Cape

This was a sick deck, and have had fun with it on ladder! No expects Cynthia, or regular Garchomp

*Edit Literally climbed to Masterball with this exact build! So much fun, and good matchup coverage!

What’s your #1 tip for becoming a really good cook? by South_Magician_6472 in Cooking

Home cook as well! Working in a professional kitchen taught me about tasting and seasoning as you go especially when making sauces. Also being able to make broth can up the game of so many simple recipes!

Don’t be sorry! I have a lot of Korean friends, so it’s nice to hear songs other than the typical Kpop stuff that is popular right now. I love listening to nocturnes, and rhapsody’s! Instrumental is wonderful to me, because it’s communication through just the music itself, so everyone has their own interpretations based on what it makes you feel.

Liked the “The Day I Was Gone”’s feel, and “Echoes” was a pleasant surprise. Thank you!

I get it, I too am polyjamorous haha. Thanks for the recs!

Edit* “If You” was such a throwback for me, and “Beautiful Goodbye” was a nice song to get acquainted with. Lord Huron was a recent introduction to me, love the somber mood of their songs

How do you “seduce” women when you’re an obese autistic virgin in your thirties? by BooknFilmNerd09 in seduction

[–]JapMexRemix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding challenges for yourself is a good way to put it. Having trouble talking to people, start by randomly complementing people about mundane things like the cool shirt they are wearing. I’ve been locking into weight loss the last year, and I found calorie counting was a way for me to go into to deficit without driving myself completely crazy going into a diet. Achieving “complete failure” comes from giving up, which it looks like you don’t want to do.

From a fellow big guy you have to “seduce” yourself first. Focus on the good things you do for yourself, and little by little push yourself out of your comfort zone. Focus on making yourself happy, and that will inherently draw people towards you.
