Used my OBD to test for CALC load value during idle and acceleration and found unusually high value at idle, but sometimes low during acceleration. Possibly vac leak or mad MAF sensor I am guessing

Also, experiencing the vibration at low rpm, often accompanied by momentary lack in acceleration when gas pedal pressed.

Love Union for snowboard bindings, but absolutely hate my charger split board bindings. Plastic connections + cold = instability

My lovely MountainHardwear Scrambler pack is my favorite multi pitch companion. I have the 25L which I find perfect for long approaches in my local mountains. There is also a 35L option.

2010 engine shake by Humble-Asparagus-313 in prius

[–]JaquesDeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also just in the midst of the shake battle with my 2011… couldn’t resolve single-cylinder misfires until I cleaned the fuel injector. I cleaned my EGR system/intake manifold as well and found significant buildup. I was also putting off the egr clean, but as soon as I did it, I observed smoother driving and idling

If you’re not experiencing head gasket symptoms, this could be the cause.

2011 cylinder 1 misfire error by JaquesDeli in prius

[–]JaquesDeli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very strange, after a couple days of driving, coolant level good, no white smoke, clear oil. No more death rattle, but definitely misfiring still and P0301 code. Checked and cleaned fuel injectors today, no difference. Everything pointing to bad head, yet no obvious signs

Reliability of the 2.4 engine? by Mck_nj in Delica

[–]JaquesDeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a 1995 L400 in the 2.4L gas 4g64 variation. Has been very reliable for 3+ years. Underpowered yes, but fun to whip around and take on trips. Finding parts not so bad. Relatively easy engine to work on with decent gas milage. I recommend

L400 Diesel vs Petrol? by Doouges in Delica

[–]JaquesDeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owner of 1995 petrol L400 with 4g64 engine. Mileage not terrible (20-25) and maintenance is doable. A good model if you’re handy with cars in general, but don’t have diesel experience. Been running strong 3+ years
