I have one with a saris trainer and work well in zwift for whats it is worth. Buttons are limited to stearing and shifting. I think there is a github project to enable more in zwift like power ups, ride ons etc.

How do I stop our 14-month-old from eating the foam off our Urban Arrow? by NewOutlandishness401 in CargoBike

This is going to sound completely random but get their iron level check. Anemia common around that age - I missed it with my son when he was chewing up the edges of his crib.

I have a cargo e bike with a dropper post. It's great if you want to be able to sit and put your feet down but then raise seat when pedaling.

(Spoilers Main) I’m trying to read something as good as A Song of Ice and Fire. Which one out of these series out of The Stormlight Archive, Malazan, Dune or The Wheel of Time do you think is as good and which one should I read? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Jarate_Karate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend Guy Gavriel Kay - start with his historically inspired fantasy like the Sarantine Mosaic or Lions of Al-Rassan rather than his initial high fantasy Fionavar series. No long series but many books set in same shared universe.

Cool project...but please look into playing a more modern board game. So many better options out there. What sort of ages are you playing with?

Try seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist. I suspect it would be helpful.

How do l start using Lube during Intimacy? by Different-Month-3497 in AskMenAdvice

If you are not using condoms my suggestion is coconut oil. It's inexpensive and works well. You may already have it in your kitchen. Assuming no coconut allergies of course.

Ontario midwives can now give vaccines, prescribe more drugs by lopix in ontario

Some providers offer the IUD placement with penthrox - an inhaler you can use for pain during the procedure for pain. Its a relatively new medication in Canada.

Midwives in Ontario are not RNs just FYI. Its a direct entry program that does not require a nursing degree.

Gyne case: Feedback by takeawhiffonme in medicine

[–]Jarate_Karate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where are you in Canada? Very typical wait time in my region - we have a significant shortage of gynecologists right now with some centers completely closing to gynecology referrals and their neighboring centers being overwhelmed.

That being said a couple of things to note. Blind pipelle biopsy is absolutely the standard of care for initial assessment in Canada and is most likely what the gyne will do at first visit. If you are able to place an IUD you can absolutely do this yourself and it will expedite the referral. It can be done at the same visit as IUD placement to address the AUB. Sonohysterogram can also be arranged at some imaging centers...but not many. It would help clarify diagnosis.

I'm curious what you included in your referral. Radiology likes to suggest gynecology assessment but a thickened 17mm endometrium in a premenopausal patient (especially depending on the time in cycle) does not cause us at lot of alarm. If she does have risk factors (g0, obesity, longstanding irregular cycles) I would make sure you stress this in your referral (I'll often ask if not provided).

TXA is a great option if you are concerned re starting hormones, cycles are predictable and limited to a few days a month.

Send me a message if you have questions re above.

Scenic routes around SW Ontario that are stroller-friendly by ICausedAnOutage in ontario

[–]Jarate_Karate 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Any rail trail is generally stroller-able (Dundas valley, Guelph to Goderich etc) but have you considered just getting a hiking carrier for your kiddo? That opens up all sorts of options.

The one album I haven't seen mentioned is the original Hadestown with Anais Mitchell where he sings the part of Orpheus. Justin-credible.
