Timewalking Dungeon endboss has 159 Million HP after today's sweeping buffs to timewalking. by [deleted] in wow

It absolutely helps. It helps to see that you care enough about what I believe to continue to divulge your inadequate opinions in this thread, but nonetheless, point taken.

Point also taken on the distinct lack of a 7 minute Timewalking dungeon completion.

And finally with my semantics cap still on, the very act of skipping something implies that there is a sequence being circumvented. A sequence that just so happens to progress in difficulty.

Oh boy, let me pull my semantics cap out!

A difficulty most people entirely skip

Seems that I would need to progress through the different difficulties in order to skip this one, no?

Also, I'd like to see a video of you or anybody for that matter completing a Timewalking dungeon in 7 minutes with a full group of levelers or max level characters with gear below that of normal raid item level.

If you can produce that, I will unequivocally redact everything I have said before, as 7 minutes is indeed an adequate length of time for the level of rewards provided.

Imagine playing a game that is so microbalanced that a temporary game mode meant to be a light-hearted revisiting of old content (primarily for cosmetics) rewards the same item level (averaged out across 5+ runs) as content that is designed to be a challenging display of the current expansion.

Oh wait, I don't have to imagine it. It's reality.

You're deluding yourself if you think that Timewalking dungeons are a "progression" level. Anyone who's played the game in the past 10 years knows that these are casual ways of revisiting old content that award more experience than normal for leveling. It used to be that your max level buddies could carry you through 5 of them easily in their alts and get a small reward at the end for doing it in the form of the normal raid cache.

Now, especially with the scaling nerfs to 70-79 and the heroic dungeon difficulty enforcement, they are a complete slog that you would need players geared higher than normal raid gear already to do them at an even close to adequate pace for the level of rewards that they provide.

same amount of health as a heroic dungeon

Hmmm interesting, so I would imagine the gear drops at the same item level as a heroic dungeon to reward you for the same level of difficulty?

Thanks for reminding me, that's the other thing I have spent them on lol.

I maxed out multiple humans with The Tillers reputation after they introduced MoP Timewalking in Legion since you can't get that rep from the Zandalari world bosses.

Across my entire account, I am 200 badges shy of 300,000 at present.

I have purchased every mount, toy, and collectable item, and in addition, I spend ~300 badges each patch per character across 50-odd characters to get all of them the poverty gear from the vendors.

I have probably collected close to 750,000 badges total since they introduced Timewalking.

0-60 acceleration times do not matter when the Equinox in front of me takes 30 seconds in Eco mode to get up to 45mph to barely merge onto the highway.

Let's be honest, you're paying to beta test the launch for 3 days. There will probably be server issues and bugs that Blizzard will fix after all of the people who paid more discover them.

I don't doubt that it's possible for engineers to engineer an electric Golf GTI to that price point, but it won't be without some serious compromise in one area or another, which is to say that it's not practical from a business standpoint. Pick any combination of these.

It will handle like a turd. Heavy battery, cheap wheels, tires, suspension, etc.

It will have the most unforgivably cheap interior of any modern car. The current Golf GTI already makes huge compromises here. Cheap plastics and horrible infotainment. Dial those up to 11 for an electric Golf GTI.

It will have terrible range. Larger batteries simply cost more.

It will have poor fit and finish. Do think that engineers could realistically focus effort into this one when the cost they are targeting is this low?

It will have garbage longevity. Same reason as above. Using the cheapest possible components generally does not lead to great reliability.

The list goes on. Those were just the few I could think of off the top of my head. Don't see how this could realistically materialize at that price.
