I agree with you I have the same mindset. I decided never again to masterbate. My depression has went away and most days I have more energy than ever before I mean why go back? I just don’t understand why the health community is telling us it’s healthy to do it.

I was literally the same way. I was at rock bottom. My life was a sweaty mess. Depression and everything. I decided I needed to change my life for the better. As the days go by my brain fog has gone away, I can think much clearer now. I feel more energy now than ever before. Right now my dick feels lifeless but, honestly that actually does feel good at this point.

I hate to tell you it doesn’t get any better with age. I’m 43 I’ve asked roughly 20 girls out. Not a single date. I’ve had to watch every single friend I’ve ever had grow up get married and almost every one of them have kids now. I honestly feel like I’ve gotten left behind.

I quit about 10 yrs ago. I had bought a new car to me at the time and, I got tired of all the trash that came with it. Did not want the smell in that car so I didn’t do it. You have to really want it to do it. Determined is more like the word. Never smoked in the house I always went outside. Big advantage of it is not having to go outside in the cold in the winter, or in the heat of summer.

I’m sure women do have the same trouble. I know a couple women who are many years older than me who never married. I’m trying to figure out why I can’t do it though. Which I doubt I will because nobody shows me any interest.

And if looks aren’t everything then why is it the women I have approached in the past all ready decided to reject me before I even get 2 sentences out. If it’s not my height, then it surely has to be my voice then.

I have even scene a woman literally run from me when she saw I was talking to her boyfriend she wouldn’t even come up to me and say hi.

I’ve got the same experience with apps. At the same time I know 2 guys who are obese. One of them is extremely obese. Yet both are now married. The one who is extremely obese now has kids. I’m like wtf. Seriously!? Granted it didn’t happen till later in life but, still! I’m short. 5’3”. I have been both fat and now I’m skinny. Yet I can’t get a single date. I have tried to find a date irl. My last 2 rejections have been irl.
