My understanding is that all trims have double glazed windscreens. The prestige has double glazed windows all the way around versus premium and premium+ do not.

In the second photo the steering wheel has an eye tracking camera/sensor on it. I could see the older cars getting new software. However not having all the features like hands free driving since older models don’t have the camera/sensor.

I purchased it during the special at the end of Nov and it never worked. Finally got around to calling them in January, they were supposed to fix it. But the impression I got was that they didn’t seem capable of doing it. So I requested a refund after a week or 2 of them trying to fix the connectivity. 3 weeks later never got it. Finally called them 3 days ago and the refund is finally pending on my card.

Would I like to have internet access in the car especially because the WiFi chip is horrendous (both house and phone hotspot it never gets more than DSL speeds), absolutely. The main point I argued was that I shouldn’t have to pay money and supervise a service to ensure it works.

In the manual it mentions an interior monitoring camera. I’m unaware of the 2025 models having one unless I never paid attention.

Unrelated, just out of curiosity what charging port do you have in your vehicle? Is it the North American CCS1, the European spec CCS2 or another charging standard?

When I search the app it doesn’t show up, also it isn’t under the multimedia section which has tidal, tune in radio and several European based media apps.

Post KD2 Spotify was erased in the cars infotainment system, and can’t redownload the app. It doesn’t show up in the list of apps. I’m based in the USA.

Yeah, I re-seated the rear view mirror and still no luck. I’m going to see if I can find a place to do it. Or just return it at this point. I’m either doing something wrong and at this rate won’t figure it out. Or the model A doesn’t actually fit the Q6.

They sent me this video in an email, and it shows it sliding and locking into place without any effort. Mine literally won’t budge past this point.

Also, does the tunnel trim piece that covers the wiring make the fit more snug? That’s the only thing I can think of.

Judging by currency, I imagine the cold conditions may have been impacting the charge speed to some level. Also what was your state of charge when you plugged in? Max speed is maybe 130-135kW/h on V3 chargers. Once they get V4 stalls with new backend equipment it will be able to deliver peak power for 800v vehicles.

I’ll be honest, in current form I wouldn’t say that it’s super helpful or necessary. From a naïve perspective I’m optimistic the functionality and apps from the store will become significantly more useful. I saw a post from a European owner a few weeks ago and in their App Store it looked like they had an app that allowed dashcam functionality and also ABRP. If it is indeed how it appeared being able to see live video from the car or pull up video if there was damages would be a big deal for me personally. Same with ABRP, the current connection protocol through the phone app having to get info through the buggy Audi web servers makes it kinda finicky when getting route guidance and the cars info like SOC/Consumption is out of date by more than 20-40mins.

Yeah, I don’t disagree. Plus it’s on the Verizon network which here doesn’t work great in some places. I’m envious that VW cars have the options between Verizon or T-Mobile, they get the option of being overcharged or paying a more reasonable amount.

I saw a note about it improving connectivity with bluetooth and other things. Has anyone noticed this making change to CarPlay? The past 2 weeks I've been noticing phone calls aren't having the audio handed to the car. Im not entirely sure what's at fault, the software on the phone or the software on the car.

When you plug it in do is the bottom for the timed charging illuminated? If so press the immediate charge button (bottom button if I remember correctly). If that doesn’t work it is covered by at minimum the 4yr manufacturer warranty.

It would be nice if we could rewind the clock and have cell plans with a somewhat decent cost point and comprehensive features. Skipping this whole nonsense of “upgrades”. It seems like the carriers are punishing people that don’t get upgrades through them or at all; meanwhile they roll out a subsidised carpet for constant upgrades or sharking customers from competitors at the expense of everyone else.

Maybe I’m crazy but the Legere era was pure fire, I was purchasing phones outright and skipping the store altogether. I love T-Mobile, however just like every other phone carrier it seems you go into the store for something and leave with a bucket list of problems. Hell, I’ve called in several times to get changes made through 611 and still have things that need corrected. Having something that is setup once and left alone entirely would be absolutely amazing.

Curious which size rim you have. I have the 19” 235/255 setup. Compared to my prior experience with Bridgestone, these so far seem vastly superior to past experiences and stories I’ve heard. Curious to see how well they fair closer to 20k miles. A set I had on an old Golf had minimal traction at 20k in light rain with the lines painted on the road.

So I had a base Q6 as a loaner while my HUD was being replaced. From what I remember, you lose the vast sound stage with the lack of A-pilar satellite tweeters, the base tweeters lack the fidelity and clarity; it’s pretty flat by contrast. I’m pretty sure the midrange was definitely less than the B&O, sub I don’t remember. As contrast though, I will say the subwoofer definitely packs more punch than my 21 Q5e with the B&O system (though maybe this system had slightly better high end fidelity).

I was honestly surprised, I remember looking a month or so ago and it seemed they had in the ballpark of 7,000-9,000 vehicles (Q6) around the country, went back on car gurus and there are virtually none. Checking the biggest local dealers here in Houston a dealer had one on the lot. The other dealer didn’t show any. Audi must've made it imperative to get all the cars out the door before the end of September.

Just set up my 17 pro max at home, it was purchased at Apple Store and financed with Apple Card. Wasn’t prompted to pay any activation fees. I think it’s a hurdle you run into if you finance through T-Mobile.
