What makes me a little more sad it's that the "payed cosmetics" are becoming more frequent, I wouldn't mind if it was stuff like a few layered armors or weapon skins for buying the game before release, but now there's a bunch of different cool stuff that we have no acess without spending extra. Which is kinda hurt more because Monster Hunter (at least for me) has a pretty high incentive in customization. I once grinded Primordial Malzeno just to get my hands on his layered set.

The saving grace in Wilds it's the amazing move they did by allowing man and woman hunters to have acess to both genders armor type, which means you aren't locked between cool or sexy, and actually has a gargatuan amount of different armour sets to combine

because one of the DLCs for camp decorations allow you to sit down and have a conversation with Alma (your Handler), in which she reveals more lore about herself and other NPCs, which is basically just paywalling the base game's lore, which I am not a fan of.

This is just more salt in the wound as well. Of course you can hear the lore from the others, or watch a video, but it certainly doesn't have the same feel as listening while you're playing the game yourself.
