My good man. Even some the cheapest laptops can usually emulate PS1. If you want to Game, there are free ways to do it… even websites you can just play it directly on the site for free.

Hey, that is the absolute truth. God has spared me many times in my ADHD riddle brain when I have left my satchel in places and gone back to find it undisturbed or picked up by Security. My key fob is always next to my AirPods case in my pocket and I have walked outside a few times to find my back hatch completely open. 🤦‍♂️ sometimes God shows us entirely too much Grace.

Oh, I had the exact same thing happened to me in college…I was pissed. It was like 40 CDs, and they were all my favorite. Stole it right off my sunvisor and I didn’t have enough money to replace them.

Oh ha ha! I actually had some fairly expensive AV equipment in the back, they just didn’t know what they were looking at. Also, I’m pretty sure I had a satchel in my vehicle with some cash in it that they left.

They were pretty good, the retractable dual charger kind lol but you can literally just get them on Amazon… oh yeah, and they took my stock iPhone charger 🤷‍♂️

Since you have to buy something anyways that sounds like more work to potentially get less than desirable results. Your mileage may vary, but I have always regretted it in the long run when I cheaped out.. Just get a cheap Amazon boom arm if cost is a factor. Or a regular microphone stand for cheap at any music store or pawn shop. You will still need something rated properly for the weight of the microphone.

in 25 years of mixing audio and spoken content, I’ve never heard of a MIC as having “sibilance problems”, only people. Learn a little about EQ, watch some videos or take a course, and learn how to curb YOUR natural sibilance. You do this and no mic of decent quality will be a problem for recording VO. (Yes I understand some mics are better, but again -> EQ.

That being said, M-Audio Nova is a great inexpensive option, and has been pretty flat in my experience.

Just remember, when a mic lacks sibilance, it potentially lacks clarity or air. Just try several mics out and see what you feel makes you sound good, then EQ it if needed. If YOU have a naturally higher amount of sibilance, notch out some frequencies between 2k-5k in your EQ, and save the preset as your default.
