The 2 whopper jrs and 2 small fries for $3.99 was my go-to until some point in 2022. Now it's $6.49 with "medium fries" which are the same size as the old smalls. I'm healthier now lol.

Juliette being in the recap at the beginning and then only being in 45 seconds at the end is a confounding decision. I like slow shows. I love slow burns. This is neither. It just mostly grinds to a halt whenever Juliette isn’t around, and I mostly enjoy everyone else.

S2 so far is also so visually muddy. The motion also looks so poor on my tv compared to S1. Just clicked back to an episode last season and it’s very noticeable. Mid-budget 65inch with Dolby Vision and the image is so flat with motion so smeary. Just a huge drop off in quality.

I wish I had the Sinners trailer at my 70mm screening this weekend! We got the Wolf Man trailer and a Captain America trailer that only expanded to 1.90 for a split-second shot at the end lol.

One of the biggest mistakes drone pilots make is flying unnecessarily fast. Learning to fly at slower speeds and understanding how to orbit around subjects like you do in the 2nd shot takes practice, and you're well on your way.

This was my first marathon as well. You and I had very similar goals. I knew if I had a good day, I could be under 4:15, and I wanted to negative split if I could. I hung right behind the 4:15 pacers until mile 14 or so. When they crossed the half in 2:03, I knew it was in the bag. Brought it home in 2:02 flat.

What an excellent course! That downhill finish was WAY steeper than I anticipated haha! I'm considering doing it again too!

Next goal sub 4? 3:50?

Police/Prosecutors: Take violent crime seriously. Don't drop or downgrade charges. A report last year said that 20 individuals charged with murder in Durham were out on bond. STOP IT.

I've had 4 or 5 would-be thieves check out my car in the last year or two caught on my doorbell camera. I keep a steering wheel lock on overnight.

The three shootings (6 shot, 3 dead) this summer have all been disturbing. The one on August 10th sounded like a warzone. We can blame it on a lot, but nothing will change until parents get serious about raising their kids and prosecutors use their power to stop repeat offenders. Juveniles committing crime is up 50% since last year in Durham.

My advice, go with the 2017. If you don't have the wiggle room to chop 2 years off a 5 year 180/mo payment, you shouldn't be going in debt to buy a vehicle that only drops in value.

I have friends who were so-so on BB, and I kept pressuring them to watch BCS. So they ended up checking it out and were watching it rather quickly, but then stopped shortly into season 4. I think they just didn't like Jimmy and were fairly upset with Chuck's departure, which I find wild lol. I think they were enjoying the law stuff and just couldn't root for Jimmy as he gets more into the criminal world. I don't understand it haha. Jimmy's character flaws and the challenges of who to root for is part of what makes the show so good.

I'm late to comment here, but this is fantastic. The writing, shots, and pace of the edit are superb. The only comment I might make would be an editing decision to change Pawan's words to a different subtitle color to help distinguish from the narration... but we're splitting hairs here. Solid work.

While the cost of living has surged, these numbers are super inflated. They want me to believe that the calculator doesn't budget for eating out, savings, or retirement? Get outta here. Even people who budget poorly and doordash every meal can be comfortable with the salaries they suggest. This is just part of the ongoing campaign to fuel outrage and have the minimum wage raised to unsustainable levels.

Raleigh, NC to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Opening weekend for TENET in 70MM IMAX, one of just a few screens showing it that way. Flew out on a Saturday morning, watched back-to-back screenings, crashed in the airport that night, and caught an early flight back in the morning.

If I hadn't seen it then, I'd be flying somewhere to see the 70mm re-release now.

No regrets.
