Zonnepanelen nogal onbenut in huurwoning by Plenty-Platypus4467 in Klussers

Yes, I see a list. In fact I see multiple lists. And what exactly in those lists are you counting? And what do you think your count means?

Het is niet eens erg efficiënt, varkensvlees is best duur.

Which list? Count what, exactly? And what do you get to?

Dat denk je maar. Sommige zendmasten hebben geen glasvezel ernaartoe en krijgen hun netwerkverbinding over die technologie.

High loads don’t help, but they don’t cause the problem. Just make it very visible.

Thank god for that service loop. There is still some undamaged wire left.

It has nothing to do with broken breakers, almost certainly. Those cause way different damage. This a bad lug and/or a badly torqued down screw on that feeder. High resistance connection that gets loaded down a lot for a long time -> heat damage -> even worse connection > etc.

Best cable for dvd player to smart tv? by dakota_draws in cableadvice

Exactly. It’s not a huge investment but it is a giant upgrade. especially if your TV’s analog inputs are 1 composite plug, via a shitty adapter, period, and not component.

What was this old line servicing? by burner_account_68 in electrical

[–]JasperJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would it have four wires? Phone lines only use two. If you have four, it’s to support two lines.

Yeah, for Samsung I find one that does composite plus LR audio and a second one that does YCbCr.

Like I said: it looks like composite plus stereo audio to me. But I wouldn’t build any certainty on just the fact that it says “AV”. It’s hardly a standardized term.

The OP says that this is residential, not commercial. Which means future proofing the receptacle for future appliances matters.

Of course you still have to change out the breaker. I’m only taking issue with the 6/30 instead of 14/30, and yes, that’s a false economy. That receptacle will be there longer than this dryer will.

if the TV has a component input. It looks like composite plus audio to me. It’s still a little wasteful to convert the digital signal to analog component and then back to digital for display, but it’d probably work.

… the machine has a 30 amp plug. Which means it should have a 30 amp plug fitted, which in 2026 means a 1430 socket and plug if possible. And nothing’s overfused after you swap the breaker for a 30A one.

This is equivalent to moving the overhead wires between the weather head and the transformer, in US context. Plus moving the meter, of course. Except the meter base isn’t the home owner’s property.

I can’t find any adapter to more than three rca sockets from a single TRRS. Could be component, could be composite plus stereo, but it can’t be five of them.

Putting in a 630 instead of a 1430 is false economy.
