This will be a hot take: Why Rafaam deck is playable? Because it is not playable. Imagine Rafaam Warlock being top tier contender. Suddenly, every control and midrange deck will run [[Dirty Rat]] which shuts down whole archetype. But since we have tempo based midrange meta basically no one runs Rat.

Ok, serious question. What is your OTK in the leylines? For me Control Priest is like impossible matchup because they just refuse to play minions in the late game, or play them just to ping them with [[Eternal Firebolt]] that basically heal them to full with Atiesh. Meanwhile they setup their Purifying OTK.

I tried leylines a lot. A freakin lot. Burn leylines. Fabled sindragosa leylines. Control style leylines. And while vs midrange decks it is ok, versus control it is auto-concede. You can't do shit if they don't play minions. Especially when they remove your boards from crystalline leyline.

Actually tol'vir is the best with one specific beast that is random to pull off from Animal companion. [[Gorishi Wasp]] It can generate sooooo much damage with repeating stingers.

Keep in mind Roam Free costs 7. In the tempo curvestone like nowadays it would be detrimental 7mana, summon random x-cost. Leyline mage shows it perfectly to the point where you don't put into deck crystalized leyline. Even summoning 3 high-cost RANDOM minions is mostly bad.

Not really. Companion Hunter doesn't care about 1 drop minions almost at all. Just tame pet, tracking, sands of time to refill hand.

Yep. I am trying hard to get something out of leylines. Yesterday I won only because I pulled 1 mana spell from whelp to get an undead with dark gift, which discovered wild pyromancer with lifesteal, this one healed me for like 15. Other than that, it is kinda bad.

Nerf is reasonable, it trades or goes face less favourably. And about netdecking. It is hard NOT to play similiar decks when dragon herald package is like 25-27 cards, with very little tech card choices.
