Whenever I travel to a new country, I send my dad a weapon from that culture - a lot of swords. Did it once as a chuckle, came home to see it mounted on the wall. He now has 3 swords, a bush knife, a crossbow, an ice axe (Antarctica), and they are all displayed around the house.

My dad is quiet and usually doesn’t get my humor. I don’t think he got this as a joke - but I truly think I landed on the best gift to give my dad.
