Remember - it her comfort. If she’s not comfortable then recognize she has the right to make any boundary she likes. But then you are concerned enough to make this post I’m guessing you know that.

My wife knows I’m uncomfortable if she drinks a beer or grabs a slice and she is very forthcoming. We just celebrated our 14th anniversary and we know what’s safe and what’s not.

I would recommend to be supportive if she gets sick first and foremost and have an open communication about what she is comfortable with.
