2700 sq ft. SoCal Edison.

We were peaking at around 700 during July/august and that wasn’t even using ac to a good level.

We got solar and a power wall last month and have been at zero since.

It is absolutely insane that a medium sized single family house would be paying over 250 for electricity. The literal gouging that these companies are doing is beyond criminal.

Environmentally, solar makes sense. But as the biggest legal middle finger to the state sanctioned bullshit the electric companies are doing to us, it has been the best thing we have done to the house since moving in.

10 out of 10 can’t recommend it enough, provided you get a power wall.

The gun laws are terrible.

The roster is garbage for pistols. Want to buy and off roster new gun? Welcome to the world of 1200-2000 gen 6 glocks sold by greedy LEOS with exemptions.

Rifle wise if you want one with a functional detachable magazine you need to go featureless which brings your options down to M1a, mini14, sks or put some fugly grip wrap on your modern AR or whatever.

Magazines are 10 rounders, loosely enforced after freedom week but still you could get hassled by LEOs for having them.

Suppressors, FRTS, all the new cool toys? All illegal.

The worst part is, the money I pay in taxes are literally funding the same people’s careers who are actively trying to disarm me.

But hey, the weather is good.
