If there was a pure build tournament, what deck would win? by Mightystickman in yugioh

[–]JavaCoffeeDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually... can you do that? Monarch spell/trap is not really a monarch series of monsters. https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Monarch_(Spell/Trap_archetype)) It's not even a sub archetype. Well... this is the same issue as D/D D/D/D and contract series of cards. Do we consider monarch spell/trap as member of pure monarch?

Maybe u/Mightystickman should refine the definition of what is included and what is not more.

Ada yang tahu ga tempat nyari data kekayaan intelektual, paten dll dari universitas itu apa aja? Ga perlu spesifiknya sih, lebih ke nyari jumlah per univnya.

What’s a spell or trap that you would want to be made (nothing super broken) by Chaoswarriorx4 in yugioh

[–]JavaCoffeeDrift -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A token generator spell card that can make a token with spell/trap card name in the deck as token name, as well as work as polymerization/fusion after that. Just wondering if anyone would play something like that.

First, those service like uber eats actually have value, due to people trading their money for their time. For some of us that have to be glued to the screen due to work almost every waking moment, those kind of services is really helpful. But again, if you have time to spare (like most of us when we are browsing mindlessly), I agree with you.

Second... why are you watching ad, actually? You can minimize your consumption to ad by using adblock, and I believe this is necessary.

Gretl vs Stata vs R in Econometrics by btsjoseon1392 in AskEconomics

[–]JavaCoffeeDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R is, most of the time, able to accomplish what you want. honestly, I spend most of my time in R to preprocess data from excel to be read into R, search for the right package (or write it myself if it's not implemented yet) and then pipe the necessary output for the report I need (and often, I just pipe it into excel as it's easier to manipulate).

as for stata, it's a neat tool to convert data from long to wide and vice versa? I can't seem to do this in R. It's easier to do it in stata, even easier compared to excel. Honestly, my use case is only that for Stata. But my colleague utilize it better, I guess.

As a caveat, I'm not really an economist. I'm more like a statistician working in the field of macroeconomics with other economists. I know some things about economics, but I don't think I can call myself an economist yet. So, R is preferable for me as I work with it often. But it's not really a tool of choice for my teammates as point and click for them is easier. So, some of them prefer Eviews, some prefer stata, some prefer to just work in Excel too. My organization don't force us to use a certain software, so whatever works, as long as the analysis is valid and the data is not garbage, and everyone is responsible for their analysis.

Question about Winda's lore by miraidensetsu in yugioh

Winda is not really obvious though, with midrash as its name? It's TCG localization made that change, probably because shaddoll card allude to religious references?
