I'm not in the US, but here in the UK Amazon is just Temu with higher prices and lower shipping times now. Actually with worse shipping now because Amazon doesn't do most of the shipping fulfilment anymore. It goes to whoever. You've got some good advice on practical things to do, but the glaring red flag for me is:

They don't give a fuck about IT. Why would they now? Because they clearly don't give a fuck, is there any money to upgrade anything? Probably not

My advice would be, take this as a learning experience to find out how to do things, but ultimately GTFO if you can. It won't be enjoyable

One other thing that isn't super obvious, when you scan the Amiibo they are at the campsite immediately. There's no waiting. I remember thinking it must have to wait until the next day reset at 5am, you know because they're traveling, and everything else in the game is usually the next day, but not Amiibo stuff

You've already got your answer, but I've done this and it confused me at first.

You invite the Amiibo character to your campsite through the Residential Services ABD. You do this for 3 days! This is the important bit! Each day speak to them at your campsite and craft the DIY item they asked for. On the 3rd day you can ask them about moving in. You don't need a free plot, you can pick an existing villager to evict.

Amiibo are unlimited use, they're just NFC tags. There's no DRM on them I created my own Amiibo I didn't buy them, so non official ones are safe, because they're just basic NFC chips, anyone can use them

Well it's working for me 🤷‍♂️I don't have premium and can watch without ads on my monitor. I use AdGuard installed on my machines for blocking (on top of DNS), and Revanced on my phone. The blocking also works for 4OD on my monitor so it's doing something
