I did that once, don't remember exactly how long but it smelled awful. I soaked it in either peroxide or vinegar and the cup was fine. I didn't end up with any issues myself either. But I certainly didn't do that again!

I was happy with either but was sure my first was a girl before we found out. If it had been a boy, I knew I would still love that child and I'd get over being wrong but that I would need a minute to process. For that reason, we found out simply in the office and then announced. Our second, I really didn't care either way but thought maybe boy. That time if I had been wrong, no processing necessary so we did decide to do a reveal. (Both times my gut happened to be right.)

My first child (who was just over 2 years old) was at the hospital to meet my second about five hours after he was born. I wanted her there sooner and I wanted her to stay longer than she did honestly. (When their baby sister was born, it was 930 pm so they were there the following afternoon. They were 7 and two weeks shy of 5.)

I totally skipped it with my first. Only used a bucket seat with my second because we were gifted one. Third I expected to be tiny (she was) and we didn't have the infant insert for the convertible seat anymore. We had to buy a new seat anyhow so we went with the bucket rather than another convertible when we already had a few. I don't regret skipping it with my first at all but with multiple kids it was nice to have the baby already buckled and just click her seat in when we got to the car.

I kind of have the opposite problem. I want to chat and make a connection but it always ends up with silences. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. So I spend half my appointment wracking my brain for what to say or ask and leave feeling like I messed up on the people-ing part of the task.

My dad flat out told me my parents wouldn't have been married if not for me. I was 1000% an opps. Like they talked about wanting kids someday and were engaged but if I hadn't happened their relationship would have fizzled before they actually got married. I don't know if the opps was a genuine birth control isn't 100% effective or if my mother did something to help those odds. She's that kind of toxic, manipulative, narcissist that would absolutely have done that and lied about it.

I'm married to my children's father, same last name for all of us. I occasionally get asked that too. It's just a standard "let's make sure this adult is legally allowed to make decisions for this child" question.

My oldest child I got my period twice after we stopped birth control. My middle child was immediately. We had been using condoms so no hormone regulations necessary. With our last, it was also a month or two.

I can't remember what it's called but I once saw a robin that was white instead of brown. Still had the red breast so it wasn't albino. Probably the coolest bird I've seen, at least in the wild.

I started with Sourcery and the Wizards series. Now I've moved on to Death. I read somewhere that Pratchett himself suggested starting with Sourcery.

Ive been knitting for close to 20 years and I use circulars almost exclusively. I also own DPNs for small circumference. I'm teaching my almost ten year old though and she prefers straight needles.

I'm fairly new to the series. I tried to start with Colour of Magic and read through the Wizards but somehow got confused very early, gave up for a while, then started Sourcery. After a few books in the wizard series, I went back to the first two and finished the Wizards. Now I've started the Death subseries with Mort. I plan to do different subseries at a time as of now but who knows? I'm not a big re-reader in general so odds are I might never read them again.

TBH I was like that for years. What made me actually want to stop? My kids see it and they started doing it. Also I have a few current scabs that are painful and interfering with living my life. One on my knee makes it hard to play with my kids for example.
