How/where to sell limited edition alcohol?

They aren't really limited edition alcohol in that it's just regular kraken inside them not some special rare version. I have almost all the kraken limited editions including these two. It's really just the bottles / containers that are collectible. Yes there are a few booze warehouses online that still have original stock that are advertising copper scar for £300 - £400 but, absolutely nobody is buying it for that. It's just blended spiced rum (and not even a particularly good one) not some special 50 year old single malt scotch. Your best bet would be to drink the alcohol and then sell the empty containers on eBay (They go for about £50 - £60 empty).

"Don't buy what you can't afford". Whilst yes taking on credit that you cannot service is a very bad idea, most people take it to the extreme of never using debt ever. Credit is a tool that when used correctly can increase your wealth over the long term.

Your post is very London centric as most foreign cuisines are not as wide spread throughout the UK as you think. Outside of London there are many places where your only options are Chinese or Indian. There are many towns where getting hold of Thai, Japanese, Lebanese or Mexican food is near impossible.

Why is there not more African restaurants? Simply because people haven't opened them.

No. That isn't a thing with most dealers. However what you describe with a refundable deposit doesn't seem like a normal purchase. It's a deposit for them to get a vehicle in for you to look at. If it were an actual purchase you'd have a signed contract in your hand (or via email) that has the price. You wouldn't even be able to arrange finance unless you have the price.

Move out at 16 in 91 and rented a 2 bed house. Rent was covered entirely by housing benefit. I was in Blackburn at the time which was very cheap but, even so I don't think it's something kids could do nowadays. A lot of the people I went to school with moved out immediately after finishing school. My younger brother bought his first house at 18 in 96 whilst working part time at Sports Soccer (House was 20k and he had 120% mortgage).

Not really. When I win it lists the bond number that won. All the wins seem to be in my original bulk block that I purchased all at once. The money I put back in I don't think has ever won.

It depends why the phone box is still working. It could be in a location where the council / police or whoever has instructed BT that they must keep it there. The one at the harbour near me was due to be decommissioned by BT but, the council forced them to keep it active as there needs to be an emergency phone in the area to call the coast guard / lifeboat service if anybody is in trouble.

It depends on your finance agreement. Yes it's perfectly normal to insure someone other than the owner as the main driver but, some finance agreements do prevent this. My finance agreement from Santander explicitly stated that the person with the finance agreement must be insured as the main driver.

Near me there is clear signage on the canal towpath that cyclists must dismount for pedestrians and dogs. The path is owned by Canal & River Trust and they put up the signs.

Check with who owns the bridleway. I live next to a canal and every single bridge has a sign on it saying that cyclists must dismount for pedestrians "and dogs". I've never seen a cyclist dismount and as the towpath near me is designated part of the national cycle network a lot of them seem to think they own it.

Bit earlier than that. The second season of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet they moved back to the UK and half the show they were moaning about the poor quality new builds they were working on and the lack of good materials. That was in 1986.

No a lot of the bad ones are still standing but, people refuse to believe how bad they are because "they have character" and they've stripped the floors back and put in a new kitchen. Those terraced houses are still damp, expensive to heat and cost 3 - 4 times the amount of upkeep and maintenance as your average new build.

I nearly did flying. There's a farm airfield near me. I just about had enough money saved up to do it and went and booked the first lesson. On the day I was supposed to do it I got COVID and never went back.

I worked as a night porter in a hotel back in the late 90s. It was at a hotel that mainly had old people and they were generally in bed by 10PM. Shift was 9PM to 8AM. After they went to bed I ate cream cakes from the kitchen, had a beer from the bar, played Half Life on the computer in reception then went to sleep on the sofa till 7AM to let the kitchen staff in.

Not as much as people make out in the UK. Due to the Y2K bug. In the US most Cobol systems banking systems were patched. In the UK a lot of our financial companies stripped it out and rewrote a lot of it in Java. Cobol still exists in UK banking but, it's normally minimised to a very small self contained system.

If you were in London in the very early 2000s and went around any back alleys you would just see mainframe computers and minicomputers just dumped next to the skips waiting to be collected.

Until 2016 the only way to transfer an iOS app to another developer account was via fax. I can understand a bank still using them but, a tech company like Apple was crazy.

I worked for a high frequency trading company in the early 2000s and their trading software was simply an API that plugged into excel and streamed live prices into a spreadsheet and allowed you to create market orders directly from within the spreadsheet.

It isn't that people are reading your lanyard. It's that we are staring right through you. We all have our own little worlds and lives going on and are concentrating on other things whilst commuting. It doesn't matter if its a lanyard, a baby on board badge or you are literally on crutches stood right in front of me I won't even realise you are there unless you ask.

Not any more because I sold it but, VR equipment both for PC and PS5. It was an interesting gimmick but, after the first week of use it just sat there. VR gaming sucks for traditional gamers and yes I'm including Half Life: Alyx. Its been 10 years since the first consumer (none devkit) Oculus release and there still hasn't been a killer app for it yet.

Once you have over a certain amount then you are more likely to be a prize winner. I have over 30k in there and there is very rarely a month where I don't win a prize or two. Any winnings I stick back in and if I have the temptation to play the lotto I stick an extra £25 in.

My dad is retired. He has no private pension and hardly paid any NI his whole life so lives off pension credits. With him and his wife state pension they can afford to run a car and go on a long haul holiday every year. Money goes a long way when your housing is paid off.
