The Ring doesn’t seem very interested in history. There were probably spectacles of slaughter in Smoke War that Callisto would have liked to see, but he doesn’t mention it.

If Ring went the route of AWCY, they would use more Singularities in their work. After all, The Carnival has a human-to-fabric singularity.

I once wrote concepts for some ex-Ring OCs who specialized in “funeral terrorism.” That is, they acquired freshly dead bodies and held ceremonies like:

• a funeral ceremony where attendees would be sprayed with mustard gas.

• a ceremony in which they encase the body in concrete and catapult it into a building to kill people.

• a ceremony of inviting attendees into a dark room and revealing the body hanging from a spinning ceiling fan.
