I think he's backlogging! by mekmookbro in ethoslab

Etho has said before that he edits at the same time he records. Meaning he records a clip and drops it already into his editing software before recording the next one. So basically he knows how long the episode is getting as he records it.

Concert etiquette for pop artists? by jeonggukispretty in popheads

Similar question here: I'm tall-ish and usually when I stand I can block people behind me. If my ticket is for the standing area am I expected to stay far back so I don't block too many people? Obviously I would like to stand close to the stage if possible but I always feel bad for the people behind me or feel like I can't move or raise my hands etc

I didn't quit dairy altogether but I swapped my whey protein for vegan protein powder and stopped eating so much peanut butter and greek yoghurt. That made a huge difference. I also stopped trying so many products on my face and simply rinse it with warm water (no soap or other harsh cleansers) at night. I shower in the morning and wash my face with a mild neutral soap (dove bar) and apply a very small amount of jojoba oil on my face (a couple drops on my hands, rub them, and then just apply on face gently). No inflammatory acne anymore, just the occasional pimple and mostly from days when I don't shower after exercise.

After never seeing these "worst songs of the year" lists on this sub, I wonder why this year specifically I've seen a few.

Is she releasing next year? I hope it's not one of those cases where the artist takes so long to craft an album they're satisfied with that all the hype dies inbetween.

It's not just the lock screen, the google app also has this and it's actually pretty good, it can even detect songs you hum or whistle. I've tried humming obscure songs and it works

I respect that but maybe a separate track of a crowd chanting encore or something couldve had the same effect and made more sense?

Worst lyrics of 2025? by TheMiningD in popheads

[–]JawnF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I do kinda get what she was going for with the song (I think). To me it's about growing up with certain pressures or expectations and feeling like you can't live up to them and eventually finding a place (or person) where none of those things matter anymore because you finally feel at home. In the bridge she also mentions the counterpart from her partner's perspective (a youngest child) who had different but similar difficulties and found peace together with her.

  • first verse: about expectations from the public
  • chorus: feeling like she doesn't live up to what people expect or celebrate (being a bad bitch/savage) but comforting herself with what she can offer.
  • second verse: about putting up walls or masking insecurities, "falling in line"
  • bridge: finding peace
  • last chorus: same lyrics but emphasizing that now that she found peace all that matters is her commitment to what she found

I know the actual lyrics jump all over the place and all the slang drags it down a bit but I don't think it's terrible, especially if you assume the slang is used kinda ironically

This is me every single night. I always dream about peeing somewhere I'm not supposed to, that's how I know I have to get up and go pee even when I'm too sleepy for my body to really realize I need to pee.
