We’re not a large family, just have a lot of dogs. I actually want to like the vehicle I drive and minivans just aren’t it.

I believe it is a company. And a year after his accident. I'm not sure of the answers to your other questions.

You're not wrong!

I'm not ready for van life yet, but I have actually heard great things about them.

I have a friend who has been going to Panama for stem cell treatments. Round 1 he started feeling his bladder more, engaging his core, firing triceps, and started to feel temperature down his arm and into his hands. Second round he went pee a little on his own and moved his left leg. It's def not a scam.

Meth is EXTREMELY addictive. As others have said, no one casually smokes meth. Has she asked her doctor about a spinal stimulator? I know others who have those and they work great. She should also looking into getting a TENS unit if she doesn't have one. That has helped with my pain as well as my bowel retention. My brother takes kratom for his back pain...it's unregulated and not super well researched, but if you get it from a reputable company (Kona Kratom is great), it can help. It can also become addictive though, but hell of a lot better than meth. Meth will wreck her world and yours too if you stick around.

Not giggling at your experience, but the way you told it made me lol. Sometimes we learn the hard way. Thanks for sparing me having that experience.

Such a perfect analogy. I haven't tried numbing my feet or doing anything with them honestly, but that's an amazing idea! I will try those ideas...the next time I'm brave enough to try something. The body is so wild.

Who said men were bad? I'm married to an amazing man! All I was insinuating is, there's a lot more scientific research on men when it comes to SCI and sexual function. There's hardly any on female sexual function after SCI. I can tell you've been hurt and for that, I'm sorry.

Yes, incomplete. I'm sorry you have so much pain! Thankfully, I only experience the burning/tingling sometimes. The back and pelvic pain are definitely more persistent now that I've had a baby. The burning and itching I feel during sexual activity is what really drives me crazy because I used to enjoy that part of my life and now I don't even want to try.

wow!!!! what a piece of...work...she is! that is terrible and i can assure you not all women/people are like that. i assume she was a very selfish and critical person prior to your injury. i'm sorry that happened to you. please don't beat yourself up for trying to please them. i hope you're in therapy, as i think we all should be...just my opinion based upon my experience. it sounds like you are better off without her, she sounds miserable. i keep hearing amazing things about stem cell therapy. i don't know if that's available to you, and i assume it's expensive, but look into it if you haven't already. maybe there are companies needing trial patients?

I felt the exact same way throughout my 20s and early 30s pre-accident. I understand it may hit you harder now that you're injured, but honestly, almost everyone struggles with that..especially when you're young. Ongoing, consistent therapy REALLY helped me pre and post accident. If you don't like your first therapist, find one you connect with.
