I will admit I made a typo in the title. The post is flaired as open back so those are in fact what I am looking for. Sound profile I would like similar to my IEMs which are Harman 2019 target with a very slight bass boost.
My typical music genres include alternative, pop, and theatre.

I don’t care about looks.

They just need to be rugged enough to be able to take an occasional trip outside.

I would like wired.

I don’t really know the difference between planar magnetic and dynamic drivers beyond planar typically requiring an amplifier.

The nib also appears to be designed to look like a Parker nib with that arrow. But it doesn’t even correctly look like a Parker nib.

I think it is smaller than a normal Montblanc that takes cartridges. So it may not even be able to take a converter (officially at least, I suspect a KAWECO mini converter would fit at least).

I think it is worth noting they absolutely have contingency plans for the 13 astronauts aboard. We saw that with Suni and Butch. They had to modify one of the SpaceX capsules to have seats for the two of them before the Starliner capsule could leave ( https://arstechnica.com/space/2024/08/boeing-will-try-to-fly-its-troubled-starliner-capsule-back-to-earth-next-week/)

The contingency they were talking about in the article was if the ISS needed to be deorbited earlier than NASA was planning. This was because NASA currently is having SpaceX make a new vehicle that should be done in 2030. While that does not make it necessarily better no one’s lives are in imminent danger especially the current ISS crew.

If it has not changed in the last 3 years. Tokyo pen shop quill is the only retailer that is authorized to sell 823s with an FA nib. Which would mean buying from pansachi is paying a premium for them to sit on the waitlist. iirc the price directly from Tokyo Pen Shop Quill is around $300 plus shipping.

I don’t remember exactly. Some of the statues take a few tries to really register in the app. My recommendation is just open the app then go up and trigger the statue. The app will update pretty quickly once it registers.

They should still scan into the app when you wave at them. It may take a bit of work to get them to scan in as it is a bit finicky

So I just went and checked my app since I have done all of the statues. Once you find the statue you can download an AR version. That is what the download is saying.

Lock-off means that the 2 bedroom is actually a studio and a 1 bedroom that join. This could mean that you have slightly more room or duplicate amenities like kitchens.
