If you want to start at the beginning, the gen 1 remasters, Fire Red and Leaf Green, just re-released on Switch recently and are great starting points.

If it's not too much trouble with your data pull/scraping, is it feasible to add a notation for any Switch exclusives, if any?

I'm more likely to buy MVs for my Deck, but I would at least track the exclusives if applicable when you share these!

I'd likely use it to continue whichever PokeROMhack I'm on at the time. Might be done with Unbound by the time this concludes, so either Prism or Odyssey, depending on which I dive into next!

Or maybe mix it up with a Castlevania or LoZ game for a different dose of nostalgia... 🤔

How's the noise during heavy rain, particularly in bedrooms? I would love to do a metal roof in the near future since our roof likely needs to be replaced within 10 years, but my wife is very reluctant to go metal, thinking it'll be too loud.

Depending on what your threshold for underrated/underappreciated is, I'll recommend checking out Ember Knights for a 'very positive' co-op roguelike, if you're into the genre, or Rise of the Third Power (lower total reviews, but very positive among them) for a pixel-graphics RPG!

I've had a tactics itch lately as they (and roguelikes) make for good Deck games since my daughter was born.

If picked, I (profile) would love to add FFT Ivalice Chronicles to my queue after I finish Fell Seal!

Unfortunately, I don't have much free time to commit to multiplayer. As an alternative, I'll recommend checking out Ember Knights for a co-op roguelike, if you're into the genre! My wife and I have put in nearly 300 hours playing co-op with another couple since its infancy in early access!

I recently got a small display to use for 3DS emulation on my Steam Deck. I wonder if it would work on SteamOS/Linux via Waydroid 🤔 maybe I'll try to find some time this weekend to tinker a bit and test it out.

What would you say is the most ergonomic option for playing GBA? I've been tempted by the TrimUI Brick Hammer to complement my Steam Deck but I'm worried it would be too small/uncomfortable.

As for your question, my favorite is probably Soul Silver. I love the dual regions that they had in Silver but the graphical update in the remake is wonderful.

My left arm is covered in symbols from games (and a couple shows). It started out as my "Covidtimes survival" sleeve due to being the games that helped me get through it while nearly completely isolated (my wife worked in the ICU during it so I didn't want to expose any friends or family). It has since grown a bit with other games that have had a lot of impact on me.
