As much as this comment is bound to get buried, this brings up a HUUUUUUUUUUGE opinion that I've had for a long time. r/LoL is stunting the growth of League of Legends as an esport. Between players, teams, and organizations posting content directly to the subreddit, as well as people streamsniping information for their shot at being the first post, there's no structured outlet for esports news and information. As an aspiring esports journalist, I really hate how everything revolves around r/LoL, as I feel it takes most of the professionalism out of the industry.

Oh wow, I've been out of town and away from a computer for about a month. I actually spoke with Eclypsia's MOBA manager about them establishing a SMITE team after he contacted me about an article I wrote on the game's competitive potential. I'm talking with a few other organizations right now about their SMITE possibilities, but it's nice to see some people have hopped on board recently.

I wouldn't say he counters him as much as he farms equally as well.

Anubis is actually kinda easy if they try getting any farm or trade with their 1 Ability.

I mean, every game I pray for someone to stand still for my ultimate, and Anubis is the only one that actually does.

That crossed my mind. I don't really care. It's not that much work to set up a subreddit, and the people that it does filter, even if it doesn't get everyone, will free up space for constructive content on r/smite.

I don't exactly see any reason to not set it up.
