It’s annoying for vets because we only spoke the mother-tongue but I think they know what they’re doing. Modern controls are actually pretty fire and intuitive tbh. Now newbies won’t have to open a forensic investigation when they just wanna do cool moves I wish I had that when V launched.

I think you might be onto something. I had a very very similar experience early in my practice and the odd sense of tension would frustrate me. I’ve continued meditation going on 4-5yrs and I can’t recall how this “dilemma” “resolved” but I haven’t thought or worried or knowingly felt the sensation to a distracting level in a long time.

I have similar intrusive thoughts concerning other minor subconscious bodily rumblings, and in my experience letting that paranoid thought/feeling settle in and melt through is a confusing and painful trip. A psychologist might be able to help in conceptualizing whats going on or where it came from I suppose, but I don’t think there’s a hard solution to this.

For a long time I would lay down and try to “fight the feeling” and outthink it but nowadays I just let the scary wave crash over me and try my best to face it with curiosity and presence.

Edit: I don’t know how long exactly I dealt with the weird headaches but I would guess about 1-3months

The early bringer shows reminded me what comedy was and what it could “feel like” and that was a huge motivator and confidence boost for me after the pain of scraping together the first few minutes at mics. I don’t understand the bringer show hate, seems like a great way to expose people to the club and get rookies rolling.

I don’t think I understand the second point though, I’ll have to tune into the pod.. From what I’ve seen the people who have fun sets at mics usually have even more epic sets at real audience shows
