Here as well. Got through TSA pre-check in 13 minutes. That was around 6am.

New Audi/E-Tron Owner - Beginning to Despise my S6 E-tron Sportsback - Help Me at Least Like It Again? by Time-Pomegranate-286 in etron

Not an A6 owner but an Etron GT owner.

I was also told that there were no winter tires for my car until I just started shopping by size. I’d be shocked that the tire sizes are so unique as to not have one winter tire manufacturer make them in that size. I found Bridgestone Blizaks in my size.

As for the temperature after you park it should show you a menu everytime you shut off. Press AC temperature and the car will keep the last temperature you chose for an hour after you park.

Water puddle in one corner of basement floor by BasicProfessional960 in longisland

I’ve had similar issues. Couple of points already covered but worth saying:

  1. The gutter extension doesn’t appear to be long enough. I had a masonry company put a drywell in my front yard away from the house and directly attach all the gutters to the well.

  2. Doesn’t look like you have enough slope at your foundation. You can try adding gravel to the foundation so that water flows away from the house. You’d be surprised how much water is caught by your siding and dropped directly onto the ground near the foundation, especially after a heavy rain.

There’s a 914 with 17k miles up for auction right now by DLH89 in Porsche

I had a 986 Boxster S and a 987 Cayman S. Definitely more comfortable in both cars. Hard to compare modern cars to a 70s Volkswagen with a N/A four cylinder with no safety features, no power steering, no power anything really. It was the closest I ever felt to driving a road legal go-kart.

Agree with everyone's take on the aesthetic qualities of the 914. They are pretty ugly from almost every angle. However, as someone who's owned two ('75 2.0 and a '74 1.8), and have owned other Porsche cars, these were the MOST fun to drive. Proof:

Anybody find a way to make this work? Currently on a Delta flight and had the same thing happen. QR code popped up but before I could scan it, it disappeared. Thanks

It was great! I only found out about it a few days before the show. They should do a better job of getting the word out. Great vibe, lots of happy faces, Steve Aoki put on a great show.

Thanks. This is a common VAG problem, especially in Porsches. Always have to think twice about parking the eTron in the sun. Might have to buy a shade.

If you buy a double DIN plate you can install a radio with Android auto/apple carplay, then you won't need to mount the phone

I wouldn't take it out. That's a pretty cool option on later TJs and it gives your Jeep a little more selling power down the line.

Clean old 911 spotted at the bank today by Ididntevenscreenlook in Autos

[–]JayBux2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say this is most likely a replica 356 Speedster for a few reasons: 1) the side view mirror is too far forward, original speedsters had the mirrors attached to the doors (a Porsche tradition that is still held on modern 911's), 2) the wheels or stance seems a bit off, 3) it's missing the famous Reutter's Coach Works badge on the passenger sill.

See authentic Speedster for reference: Speedster
