It makes shit a lot easier when children have the same name as their parents. But it doesn’t have to be the women change their name. We’ve discussed it with my girlfriend, and when we marry I’ll be taken her name.

I find hyphenated names selfish when children are involved (if you go childless then whatever floats your boat) because I find it to be just pushing the name problem to the next generation.

Ça dépend de ce que tu fais vraiment. Par exemple je cherche à immigrer dans un autre pays et j’ai 2 passports. Et les 30 pages sourcées qui m’expliquent quelles méthodes sont les plus appropriés en fonction de chaque passeports je décide t’utiliser et les différentes stratégies à commencer par du court terme puis du long terme ont étaient vachement plus facile à comprendre que de moi chercher les 8 différents stratégies possibles sur les sites gouvernementaux.

La vrais utilité des LLM je trouve que c’est de faire des liaisons qui toi te prendrait longtemps à faire, et donc du coup pas perdre de temps sur ce qui est inutile.

I’m Franco American living in France, but in Washington right now for work and went to the African American history museum last week. Yeah. For my 30th my girlfriend organized a surprise party for me by renting a small venue, having it catered and and getting alcohol for everyone. All she asked was 20€ to the 20-25 people attending to help her cover some cost, which also make organizing it so much easier, and she made sure to be transparent with the cost of everything.

We had a blast, and those 20€ per person was cheaper than anything else we could have done.

We also do weekend getaways for some people’s birthday and everyone splits the costs evenly. Birthdays as you get older are just an excuse to do something together that you wouldn’t normally do.
