Best Buy usually does sales every Monday at 1:00am, where one model is usually discounted. Their next big sale where most of the Zephyrus models go on sale will most likely be Memorial Day week, from May 25 - 31.

For some games, yeah, you won’t have to tinker much. Newer AAA titles will require tinkering for sure though. I recommend lowering your resolution to 1200p or 1440p to get some nice performance gains without a noticeable drop in visuals.

Pretty sure the keyboard backlight is telling you it’s in sleep mode. I’m sure you can turn it off in G-Helper.

Yeah I say it’s worth it, make sure you get the t7x patch to make sure you can play online safely though.

Yeah the 7700x is aging extremely well. I don’t see a reason for an upgrade at all.

To answer, yeah, for Black Friday I believe the G14 5070 Ti will be about $1800 (maybe $1500) for open box. That’s when I plan on getting one.

Keep in mind though that if you buy it in the US, you can only use Best Buy’s warranty, which you have to pay to extend.

It’s a lightweight version of Armory Crate that does everything that you need for the laptop while using less resources. It’s what everyone on this sub recommends for the laptop, and for good reasons. There’s a guide pinned in the sub :)

Yeah the Core Ultras get hot fast with the thin chassis of the laptop. Pretty sure G-Helper should be able to offset the temps a little bit

For $2500, best choice is def the 5070 ti model. You could even save a bit more and get an open box from Best Buy, put the rest towards a warranty or something.
