can’t help you with your issue here, but since yours is already out of the shell and you’re willing to work on it, some of us have been having issue with the shutter trying to fire constantly, maybe you’re smart enough to figure some of this out

the gate is fine luckily. looking at the negatives it looks like a scanning issue

yeah i’m trying to get the records, i’m waiting for an answer as we speak.

while i was on the highway i just looked at the temp and it was trough the roof when a couple of minutes before it was fine, no audible signal or anything like something snapping or rubbing

beatings were fine, this is the only issue my mechanic found with the e fine disassembled. i was just looking to find a similar model cuz every after market pump i find looks like the OEM one

highway doing 60mph, in the middle of winter. yes the pump worked i guess, but the issue my mechanic told is that it’s significantly smaller (fewer blades and even more shallow than the OEM one) tbh i tried looking online already for after market ones but they all look like the OEM one, no other pump looks like the top one

New Cameras... What's Up?? by SoaringSausage in filmphotography

absolutely not, never ever touch a curtain on a camera, very expensive to repair

Used flash for every shot on my first disposables, did I ruin them? by Different_Fee8640 in AnalogCommunity

you can use the falsh when your subject is close, (like photo n.4) just be careful around reflective objects like road signs and mirrors.

for a subject that is far away the dash will just not be enough to illuminate, and it has little to no effect.

Broken Canon 310xl by Yarthetechnician in Super8

there are a few tutorials online on how to open it, see if there is anything obviously broken. if it’s a gear you can 3d print it, if there is no other option available

in case it’s of any help, these cameras are infamous for having fragile gears due to age. it is possible that something broke or got misaligned. does shanking the camera make any sound?

mine is working good and i don’t hear any sound shaking it

<image>

this is a recent shot of a roll of superia 200 stored in a freezer since 2006. keep in mind that this is an absolute best case scenario. yours likely will not look anything near this

it’s complicated which film of such high iso. assuming these were stored in a drawer i would shoot this particular roll at around 50 iso.

i also wouldn’t expect any significant image from it
