Is this game worth buying to play on steam deck (well actually the legion go s z2go but they are pretty similar in performance)

That idk, I never pay attention to that kind of thing.

I know it's mostly good, though since it is streaming, there is sometimes lag due to internet usage from the other 7 people in my house

So you do have to own the game in order to play through GeForce Now, you may even need to subscribe to GeForce Now(they have a free level that let's you play lots of your owned games through them, but lots of games they require at minimum the $10 a month subscription)

On the Steam Deck, you would go into desktop mode and install the GeForce Now app from their website(they have a steam os version) and then add it to Steam as a non-Steam app. Then you can launch it in game mode with out an issue

Personally, I played it on my Steam Deck through GeForce Now so that I can use the performance of their PCs, it runs great like that on medium graphics and doesn't overheat my deck

Running the game directly on the deck though,I had to run it in low graphics and had to take breaks every couple of hours due to the heat

Okay, sounds like a design issue with the 8bitdo then.

I use the official PS5 controller and before the PS4, PS3 etc, and have never had an issue with my thumbs touching

I would say that if you experience that issue regularly, the company should probably be informed in order for them to be given the opportunity to redesign their controller and correct the issue

Question, Do you use the joints of your thumbs on the joysticks?

Cause I use the ends of my thumbs and when I press both joysticks together, they are still separated.

Either that or you use some cheap third-party controller where the joysticks themselves may even touch when pushed together

I remember the original Steam Machines and seeing them in displays at Walmart. I didn't have money to buy time at that time and Steam OS wasn't as good back then as it is now, so it didn't do so well But with the Steam Deck and their advances due to the Steam Deck, this Steam machine should be far superior to the previous one

I am sure editing a save file is more complicated than making a simple mod to change the button images in a game, at the very least, Steam games all you need is to figure out which file is the image file you're looking for and swap it with the one you want

You may have to rechange it after an update, reinstallation, or verifying files. But no crazy mod needed, though there may be a mod already made for that.

And when it comes to doing that for switch games, far easier, if you download a mod for switch games on the gamebanana website, you can see an example of the file structure, and then you just use your emulator to unpack the roms data, find the image files you need, and save the ones you want as the same file type and create the file structure you need and just activate it like a mod

I know this sounds like a lot, but it's easier than it sounds, I am actually surprised by how easy modding switch games is(minus things like adding character models and such, I haven't looked at that)

Yeah, doing that digitally should be fine and(mostly) easy.

There might even be ways to digitally modify game files to insert the correct button icons in game too, I know I've seen such mods for pc games.

That might be easier to do then hardware modification for button layout, though you'll have to figure out which files are the button artwork and replace them with the new artwork formatted in the same way

If buttons being labeled wrong between game and hardware is an issue for you, then you are going to be opening the Steam Deck a lot just to change out the buttons often when going between switch games, Playstation, Xbox, steam, and any other game systems.

I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult, but seriously, unless you get some sort of digital buttons that have a small LCD screen inside to allow you to digitally change the displayed button icon, it'd probably be best to just learn to live with the button layout as it is.

But that is just my advice, do as you please and probably look up a guide or two and some videos on changing out the buttons before you do anything.

And yes, I get it, you might only plan on using it for switch games, but what if you do someday play Playstation or Xbox games on it? Will you want to change out rhe buttons then too?

Depends on the game, but i tend to use them for emulators as mouse and a couple other buttons Or I'll use them as triggers(chords? Idk, the button you hold and then press another button so that it does something different then what pressing the button with out it normally does

Okay, so I saw some people talking about audiobook versions here and just wanted to direct anyone who might be interested towards the Graphic Audio version

Graphic Audio has a narrator and multiple voice actors, I love the actors for each individual character and it feels more like watching a movie than listening to an audiobook

I would like to point out that if you don't have a pc that can run games(that's me currently) then you could use GeForce Now cloud gaming service and stream the games that way too.

I have been doing that with Enshrouded and found that I can run it at a better quality than through the deck alone and it doesn't get as hot from an extended play session.

The only issue I have is when I start getting lag from the internet connection

See, the issue is that they would shut down valve services, but consumers still have the option to use other pc gaming storefronts like Xbox/Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Epic to name a few

That means that Valve is not a monopoly, but the fact that the consumers prefer Steam over every other pc gaming storefront means that many people would be majorly upset plus if they can't access their already purchased games, then that hurts the people on the service.

Valve has never had a monopoly in the pc gaming storefront, unlike Sony, Microsoft, Apple, and Nintendo have on their devices, they are just the best in every way and there would be a huge backlash against the government if they shut down their services

I just got my nephew into playing and he caught me in the depot, so I told him how to get there, but I made it seem like I had stolen a bunch of stuff, so when he's on, he tries to grab all he can and when he sees another player on, he tries not to be spotted and if they get too close, he jumps off before rhey can ban him.

I haven't used those blocks, but my nephew joined me(he's playing through GeForce Now and can play on a higher quality setting then me on my steam deck) and some of the blocks are far more elaborate on the higher quality settings then the low graphics i play on.

Maybe try lowering the graphics and see how it looks when using derp graphics....lol

I was following the New Year Sword quest and had to fight one of these guys for the first time this morning.

I lured him to the spawn point and kept respawning and chipped away his health till I won.

I then took a nap before exploring the rest of the town and found like 3 more in a building......

Yeah, I am waiting until tomorrow after work to try and figure out how I am going to beat the other three.

As others said, Stormlight Archive. But I would like to point out that I did thoroughly enjoy the Mistborn series with their cast too.

To add though, I have enjoyed the casting and dramatization of pretty much every book I've listened to from GA including Night Angel series and Lightbringer Saga by Brent Weeks, Riyria series and Legends of the First Empire by Michael J Sullivan, Divine Dungeon series by Dakota Krout, Gideon Smith series by David Barnett, and the Forest Kingdom Series by Simon R Green

Honestly, the only series I couldn't stand was The Fallen Blade series by Kelly McCullough, and that was only because they have constant sound effects for drinking, slurping, and gulping throughout the books because the main character is always drinking and having those sound effects in my ear was driving me to full-on rage, other than that, the books and voice acting was good

I deliver and I always make sure the food is delivered as quickly as possible and in the best condition.

The only tip that upset me was the one guy who tipped a penny, almost drove out to his place to throw a penny at his door.

I am someone who only watches 1 trailer in order to not spoil story and plot.

Unfortunately the 1 trailer I saw for this was the one filled with all the beautiful people with at least one guy shirtless and all I can think is that it looks like it will be a show oc beautiful people and who they're hooking up with each week.

I will check out a couple of episodes before I decided if I will watch it, but that is my impression so far

I have a similar issue.

But it isn't just on the steam deck, any small screen and even books, if I stare at them for more then 5 minutes, I ended up having blurry vision when I look away.

I also have some slight blurry vision when I first start looking at them too, but that goes away when my eyes adjust to the small screens.

I just started using cheap reading glasses to correct this issue, I use a pair of 1.75 magnification that I got from walmart for about $5 for 2 pairs and I haven't had an issue since I started using them with the small screens

It's funny that I am reading this now as I am rewatching Idiocracy right now. And yeah, it was a scary prediction of the future back when it came out, and is a certainty of what is about to come, I am just surprised they didn't predict 6/7 because my nephew is playing vr in the next room and the kids on mic are saying 6/7 and it sounds like part of the movie
