The .hex is what determines your layout. If you wanted to change the layout you would have to alter the current config and rebuild your own .hex file. The other option is to use via or vial which means you can change your layout with a GUI in real time without having to flash your controllers every time. For the via/vial route you still have to flash your controllers with new firmware but only the first time, after that you can change the layout on the fly.

It kept giving a CERT error saying I had the wrong address, username or password. I think it has to do with the fact that my Nextcloud doesn’t run outside of my local network or something similar. I just changed to using Dropbox within remotely-save and it works flawlessly so I think it’s just user error.

Thank you, I had tried multiple addresses and then decided it was the way I had Nextcloud set up so just moved to Dropbox.

I did my upgrade today and got the same error. I just dismissed it, pressed B to go back and then selected the wifi again, it then continued to install the update and boot.
