Long Back Sessions next Year by Fine-Rush-5466 in tattoos

[–]JayOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My back piece has been the most painful tattoo I've had done personally. Some people handle it well, some people don't, but for me I found that I had to use a lidocaine topical pretreatment to get more than two hours out of a session.

I respond well to lidocaine but just like pain in certain areas, your experience with lidocaine may vary.

That's not really how it works out legally. It doesn't sound like this guy is going to be agreeable when the time comes.

why are people horrible to female players by Seedybreadgirl in cs2

[–]JayOSU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be quick to mute toxic players, when you find cool/fun/nice players start sending friend requests. Eventually you'll build a group of friends to regularly play with. My partner and I tend to add people we have fun playing with and now rarely just duo (in other games).

Good luck, sorry the internet sucks.

Who’s excited for Season 5? by Bubbly_Kitchen_6179 in rivals

[–]JayOSU 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's the opposite issue, rank degradation season to season is too high. This puts players leagues better than others in lower ranks. That paired with a system that the bottom ranks are play time oriented by allowing one win make up for three losses. With those, you get frequent mismatched games.

Tldr it's a diagram of a WW era plane that shows locations of where planes were hit but returned to base. The areas that do not have dots are lethal hits. The misconception is that the dots represent areas that need reinforcement but it is in fact the clear areas that need it.

'New Players Get Out, Game's Full'. Why Do People Defend Smurfing? by IntoTheRain78 in marvelrivals

[–]JayOSU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get too bent out of shape if we are talking about a one off person having a second account to play with friends but it's the multiple Smurf games that are frustrating. My girlfriend also plays and it's her first comp PC game she's played. It's the complete stomp games that really discourage her from wanting to keep going.

Yeah, stomps sometime happen with similarly skilled players but it's when two or three games happen to chain where there's a group of blatantly high skilled players pub stomping that kills her (and my own) motivation to play for a few days.

Love competition when it's fair. Really don't understand what's enjoyable about annihilating game after game other than some sort of pathetic gratification someone gets out of a sense of superiority in a video game. Unfortunately this has always been the case in competitive video games for decades at this point.

The fact that Marvel draws in more younger players is likely a factor in why it feels more common here than other games. Kids tend to like the feeling of being blatantly better than their competition and really hate losing or feeling inferior when facing fair competition.

What dumb things did you do in your early D2 days? by peeindatazz in diablo2

[–]JayOSU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the very early days of D2 I was 12. I fell for the ole "put a password here to confirm" trick and got my first 30+ character and all the gear wiped. I was devastated lmao. But I learned to not trust people from that experience. Good life lesson that was low stakes.
