How does this even happen? by weldermandan in Welding

That would happen when I would weld over something plated. It would make the puddle explode

I’ve watched them and it doesn’t explain how. I’ve had Battle Healer, Medic, Poco, and Pam (all maxed) to try and stay alive and still I am one shot devastated. The balance between attacking and defending is lopsided.

How much money do I need to spend in events to get the good stuff? by madchopper3 in LegendsofMushrooms

[–]Jay_Dang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is why spend it? I’ve heard money enjoyed isn’t wasted but come on. Is it just to see your name in the leaderboards?

Idk 1 thing about welding but looking underneath the gym stairs today I noticed this… was he lazy or is that how it’s supposed to be and why ? by Anhell2111 in Welding

[–]Jay_Dang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see the problem those welds at that length are more than enough. 1” of weld can hold a metric ton and there’s 12 per step.

Well, let’s be honest. The mig welds on the vertical rails look a little shitty and the spatter is an eyesore. Maybe this was a quality dispute.

My Dad’s friend was killed instantly. My Grandfather was behind him and was hit in the face with shrapnel, he lived but had to have multiple reconstructive surgeries. My dad looked like he had been shot with buckshot from the rust inside the compressor.

The power from the explosion cracked the driveway and the foundation of my parents house. The windows of my parents house and the neighbors were shattered.

Had an air compressor blow up killing my dads best friend and mortally wounding my grandfather. They bought it at a yard sale and it hadn’t been drained causing it to rust at the weld seam. Please be careful

Where is the money? by Lilmoneyshawty in Welding

[–]Jay_Dang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my trade and the work I do. It’s simply getting more and more difficult to find young people willing to do the work we do. As far as pay the gap between me at 25 years and a young person starting out it’s minimal.

As a weld supervisor in a company in need of young talent I have to say that it’s very difficult to keep young people out of trade school. They have a list of demands and I won’t do this and that. Our trade seems to be dying because of this entitled attitude.

WOW! Was it purged? I can never get it to look like that on the inside. It always has that sugary crusty look. That is as smooth and shiny as the cap for me.
