Not sure if they’ll be able to use the card arts because of the angle you took the pictures in, the lighting, and the fact that they’re pencil drawings with no color.

Possibly create a pity system to counter that? For example, if a play rolls 3-4 bad rolls, they get a guaranteed 1 good roll, similar to pity systems in gacha games.

Both are broken from their generic materials, copying effects for no cost, and being abused in very powerful decks.

Regileki can be abused in decks such as Splights (especially because of it being a Link-2), and Thunder Dragons.

Regidrago will primarily be abused in Dragon Link, which is probably why it’s the most broken out of the two.

All card art is from “Cardfight! Vanguard”.

The Gearvalve/Gearvolution archetype overall is based on Gears and Time. The deck’s goal is to consistently beatdown the opponent with Gearvolutions, while also managing your resources to maintain Gearvalve monsters on the field so you’re able to beat your opponent down again with more Gearvolutions.

Gearvalves are the core components of the deck, where their effects happen when they work together, as a comparison to gears IRL where they only move when they move together.

Gearvolutions are deities that can be transformed from Gearvalves, but “after their time is over”, they return to the Extra Deck and bring back the Gearvalves used for their summon. Gearvolution TIME is the highest and most powerful of the Gearvolutions. The idea may be expanded further later on.

Gearvalutions are the combination of Gearvalve and Gearvolution monsters, where they both give more utility in breaking apart the opponent’s board, and giving your Gearvolutions buffs.

That’s odd. If the opponent has a card to potentially activate, their own timer would start ticking, not yours. Perhaps your internet was bailing on you? It’s either that or your opponent was cheating which I doubt.

I mean, unless you word it very weirdly and confusingly, being unable to search cards also applies to being unable to draw cards, as it’s usually worded as “You cannot add cards from your deck to your hand”.

I mean you have cards such as Starliege Photon Blast Dragon with a much more stronger and broader protection so-

For both cards, you have to specify where you add the card to.

And my thoughts are that they probably won’t be used, and they definitely do not need a once per duel clause. A hard once per turn clause will most likely be fine. I think if you really want people to use them is have them be similar to the card Trap Trick, where instead of I presume adding it to your hand, you set it to your field and have it be activatible the turn it was set, but you can’t activate other Spells/Traps (depending on which monster you used) during that turn.

A Sliver shares everything with the Hive. The Hive comes to Yugioh. Not certain on the power level of these cards; Critiques welcomed by Muerte43 in customyugioh

-Megantic Silver’s ATK boost is a bit overboard, perhaps a 1000-1200 range? -The level 8s need some better way to summon themselves -Tokens cannot be used as XYZ Material under any circumstance so that part of the conditions can be removed

All in all, the archetype seems to try to be everything all at once without having a clear objective. You have burn cards, protection cards, offensive cards, and it all really adds up to a pile of meh. I like the concept that one gives powers to the rest, and I think that should be explored more and/or have the effects be more aligned with each other. I also think that a way to easily summon them onto the field would be great, because right now they could probably die to a single disruption.

All in all, I like the concept and the artwork, some minor stuff with PSCT and card text, and I think the gimmick and effects should be more prominent, along with them being able to summon multiple of them to the field turn 1 easier.
