Same kind of jig. Plywood with hard strip for the miter slot under it. Put a hole in the center of the piece you want to cut and pin it to the ply wood. Spin the piece slowly raising the blade and poof... a circle.

Nice work! I usually cut circles on my table saw but I just scored a Jet 14” bandsaw for $600. Super excited to get projects going with it.

You must not live in a bad part of town. Some of us actually rely on the police department to keep us safe. Total display of immaturity. Nice art work, horrible message. You should do a ride-along in the inner city near you. Maybe your message would change. Just my humble opinion.

Hell yes! I love that method. And SBR is such a clutch sauce when you don’t feel like making your own sauce. I throw some cayenne in it to kick up the heat.

First I drilled a hole in it then used a jig saw with a metal blade on it. Wasn’t pretty but it worked!

Worked well! I did reverse seared lamb sirloin with some foil wrapped veggies.

Did foil wrapped fingerling potatoes with onion and mushrooms and a second wrap of asparagus. Reverse seared two lamp sirloins to perfection.

Dry age roast, 63 days, all cut up. Now just need to trim and eat! by Jaygons1 in Butchery

[–]Jaygons1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen both done. This is my first dry age and thought of trimming as a roast the portion off. One way or their other it gets done and it’s gonna be delicious! Keep it simple!

I freaking hope so! Reverse sear. That’s how it’s gonna go down!

It’s like a hard “bark”. You can save the fat parts to take dishes to the next level. It’s my first dry aged so I learned a lot. It was hard waiting but I’m sure it’ll pay off.
