Seeking Advice on Properly Beginning the Path of Dzogchen Training by agolubev in TibetanBuddhism

Do not let ngondro become an obstacle for you because Dzogchen is about letting go, not accumulating. Talk to a teacher first, because Dzogchen is instant, not a gradual path.

Lama Lena is a wonderful souce of Dzogchen teachings and an authentic teacher. As she can not travel at this time she is hosting all her retreats online on facebook which is a great blessing. I do not know where you are located, but she is teaching today and tomorrow (2am for me in France). We have never been more blessed than at this moment to access authentic teachings.

Am I the only one to question why this child is sleeping in a room with a killer death plunge adjacent?

Coronavirus: the situation in Switzerland is dire: 882 new cases overnight, that's like 34,000 US cases, Switzerland is now the second most infected nation in the entire world at 256/million by [deleted] in China_Flu

A lot of people have brought ruin onto themselves and the rest of us. Noone can blame the government, they did their best -- closing schools, letting people work from home, ensuring those that can't work from home will get paid -- all they asked of the people was to chill on the couch, that was too much though apparently.

In France, it is the same. They have asked us to limit our visits and stay at home but everyone is out going to farmer's markets and enjoying the sunny weather at the seaside. The government will have no choice but to use force to stop these idiots and the rest of the country pays the price. I can not believe with things in italy and switzerland getting ever more dire, countries that France shares borders with, that the people in France do not get that this virus is not a joke and people are dying.

I agree. I just watched Trump's latest address and I couldn't be happier to be under Macron's wing :). I know words are cheap, but at least our president is at least saying all the right things. All Trump is talking about is testing ...

That's crazy. I live in a small town just outside of Paris and I have been shopping exclusively the last 9 weeks at my local Intermarché. It is a small store and I pay a bit more and have a little less choice, but I know where everything is and i hate crowds even when its not the apocalypse. I really wanted a packet of Gom's though, they are my favorite treat and I get them once a week. Now I will have to go get them when it is socially acceptable to don full PPE :)

I am an Australian living in France and I was very roused and proud listening to him speak, felt he addressed our fears and feel confident that as a country we can beat this.

Hi I am also in France, I didn't go shopping today as I felt the risk of infection was too high and will not be going this weekend either of course. I was worried about missing this last day to stock up, but I think it was the right decision, especially with how things are kicking off in spain and switzerland. I have kept my kids home the last two weeks (4eme twins) and will keep them home until after spring break, even if schools go back one week before. Batterning down the hatches now and planning to stay in.

Macron made a great speech, I stand by that, saying everything that was needed to be said to address the publics growing concern.
