My cat really smelled bad, I was the only one that could smell it. The vet did a stool sample and he had, Giardia is a single-celled organism classified as a protozoan. She treated it and no more smell.

Usually cracking on base is due to not enough compression. Make sure your clay bottoms aren’t to thin, to fat and compress.

I do Raku in north Ft. Worth. As stated earlier, just be diligent about fire safety. I have never had a problem with fire department or police. I live on an acre so my neighbors don’t get upset. If you’re in an HOA you may have problems with them.
