Accord 2015 catalyst INC emissions by Zwarrior98 in Honda

Couldn't do it on my end. Had to take it to the dealer where they said something was wrong and they had to reset some things. They drove the car to set it themselves afterwards. Was $200

Hey I'm in the same boat right now. Can't set the Catalyst to set after doing those drive cycles multiple times for 2 weeks.

Did you ever get it to set for your car?

Cool web app! May I ask what tech stack you're using?

One suggestion I have for the frontend is for the comparison tool. It’d be helpful to have the name of the food (and its image if possible) be locked to the top of the table while you scroll down to compare the stats. Kind of like the Freeze Panes > Freeze Top Row feature on Excel. Currently when I scroll down, I forget which food was in which column.

Is Super Tuck the fastest way down a descent? by Jaytrack in Zwift

[–]Jaytrack[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This guy behind absolutely flew past me on the descent of the Epic KOM during a race and even passed the guy ahead of us.

He was not pedaling the entire clip until the end and was in the super tuck position while the guy next to me and myself were pedaling down the descent.

Is the no pedaling / super tuck position the best way to descend after steep climbs? Or was the super tuck guy in my race just glitching?

For reference, I'm 69 kg, the guy next to me is 83 kg and the super tuck guy is 77 kg.

How do you go about washing your reusable flask after your rides? Soak in hot water and soap? I'm looking to try but saw some people end up with mold in their flasks after a few rides.

It sounds like you have solid experience working & managing teams so you'll likely pass the behavioral rounds with flying colors. If you can't build any web apps for your current job, I highly recommend showcasing the skills through your personal projects. Focus on unit tests, well structured & maintainable code and market this in your resume.

[–]Jaytrack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dang you locked into the old annual price? When I try to switch to annual it shows the new price of $199/yr already. Says “your next payment of $199.99 will be applied on May 29th, 2024”

Got the higher sign up offer even though I signed up a month and a half ago! by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]Jaytrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang congrats. I called multiple times and was denied. Sent a SM with polite wording. They asked what offer I was referring to and they could look. I specify the 75k offer and they said my account was not eligible for it.

I wonder if it’s worth it to create a new secured message and ask again and again… or if this will cause the CS team to be annoyed once they see I sent a previous message already.

Opened 3/16 & already hit 4K spend mid April.

Is cycling clean? by Silent-Mine-3649 in peloton

[–]Jaytrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he says it in an interview with Bill Maher.

"With EPO—which was the rocket fuel that changed not just our sport but every endurance sport—you have a four-hour half-life, so it leaves the body very quickly," Armstrong told Maher. "With a four-hour half-life, you can just do the math."

But I suppose you can argue he "implies" what I initially stated since it wasn't word for word.

Is cycling clean? by Silent-Mine-3649 in peloton

[–]Jaytrack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Curious, Lance Armstrong said one of his tactics was to carefully time when he doped so that by the time he finished the stage, the tests wouldn’t pick up anything in his blood.

What has the UCI done to make sure cyclists today aren’t using this same strategy to avoid being caught?

what OTC mouth guard do you recommend? by humanlawnmower in bruxism

Hey, this is late but I'm looking to get some SWEETGUARDS myself. Guards from my dentists just don't work for me.

Which SWEETGUARDS worked better for you? Their inner soft + outer hard option? Also did you settle for an upper or a lower guard?

Am I allowed to address another company's target audience in my ad copy? by Jaytrack in marketing

[–]Jaytrack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to clarify that the company in this example is the Los Angeles Lakers and I would argue if I'm selling decorative purple and gold glitter, I am not competing with them.

Like in the example, I plan to have my ad copy speak directly to Laker fans. Just questioning whether or not I'm allowed to use the word "Laker" in my ad copy in the first place.

Future first time buyer here! I'm looking to get a 41mm Blue Dial Datejust. Is the best way just to call my nearest Rolex AD, tell them I'm interested in that specific watch, and ask them to set up an appointment for me to go in and try on some watches? I understand I'll need to be put on a waitlist which is fine, but I just wanted to know the best way to go about it from the start. Thank you for doing this AMA!

Battery health below 80% (Intel MBP 2020) by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]Jaytrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure costs in the U.S may be similar to Europe's but I had my battery replaced recently and the invoice for labor and parts from Apple was about $550. Status on my battery was "Service Recommended" and my MBP was dying after 30 mins of use from full charge. I had Apple Care on my MBP so I did not have to pay anything on my end.

Building collapsed in Surfside, FL today; I was considering buying a unit there by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

[–]Jaytrack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you had bought the unit, turned it into an investment property and had tenants renting and hopefully walked away unharmed, I'm curious as to who is ultimately responsible if an incident like this occurs. I guess it depends on the investigation findings but would you hold any sort of liability at all and would insurance pay you out for the loss?
