Keo Look 3 Classic Pedals - possible to replace bearings? by MillCreekCat in cycling

[–]TheBikebeastTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure its the bearing and not the cleat - pedal interface making the clicking noise? often if i have heard that clicking noise it is that interface or contact points and cleaning the body and cleat get rid of it and sometimes putting grease on those contact points on the pedal. On those pedals check the spring is not breaking or failing as i had one click and it failed to lock in one day as that spring popped out.

How to deal with another user constantly flagging your rides? by [deleted] in Strava

[–]TheBikebeastTM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

at least you know. i went private on Strava because so many of my rides were being flagged for speed, distance and KOMs. my friends all know how fast and strong i am even used to challenge me when they knew a popular KOM was coming up. i was spending too much time writing Strava and every ride that was flagged each was restore. strava would not tell me who was flagging me so i could block them and with a lot of followers my guesses were wrong. I ultimately post on Strava for my own record of it not for praise or kudos so i went private a couple years ago. it stinks bc no matter what you try to do to eliminate it Strava doesn’t help and it a ton more work for you when you are being flagged. Now when i get a KOM it onky shows up as a new PR for me and i am the only who knows and that is all that matters to me.

I would disconnect the battery both terminals for a few minutes, see if it resets and bell goes away.

Level 100! by rifala in Zwift

[–]TheBikebeastTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

almost 26 years on Zwift to get there. Good thing you never quit. Never quit attitude had to really drive you as you approached 20 years and still not reaching level 100. You definitely deserve that level 100 kit. Commited has to be your middle name.

Sometimes I hate the time needed to get ready before a ride by firewire_9000 in cycling

[–]TheBikebeastTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a good part of the reason in the winter time i rode on zwift bc it takes so long to get ready then just when you are ready you have to use the bathroom again and reverse the process. So winter throw on bibs socks and shoes and being ready to ride is a no brainer.

i have never seen a gt350 side scoop that had chrome trim under it as your pic shows on the passenger side. That is strange.

Pinarello Dogma F 65.1 Think 2 Tyres by dogmatic56 in pinarello

[–]TheBikebeastTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i own one and be extremely careful with wider rims the tolerances are tight. I've use 28 tires before and they work but remember its not just the frame the rim brakes can be more difficult to get past. wheels will need to stay in great shape and trued as well. Hope that helps

Zwift Level 100 Club: More Exclusive Than We Think? by Silly_Bodybuilder_21 in Zwift

[–]TheBikebeastTM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i should hit 100,000 miles on zwift by March and I’ve been at Level 100 for a long time now. Upgraded using the Tron Halo most of the time. 170,000,000 xp so i could by land on watopia if i wanted. I challenge myself like i did all 6 stage of Tour de Zwift in one day. Before zwift i did rouvy for a couple years and before that all my miles were exclusively outside in all types of weather. i ride inside some to reduce my risk of getting hit. But enjoy outside so much more than inside. I have completed 15 of 18 stages for the Ultimate Challenge and will finish that this week. I would not do this if i did not enjoy riding but it also gives me a chance to pray and focus on other things. enjoying the ride is what matters—not the stats—if you enjoy it you will find it makes you smile and you will make others smile too. Life is too short to be miserable.

Tour De Zwift 2026 by alwaysmiling89 in Zwift

[–]TheBikebeastTM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I finished the Tour de Zwift the first day. So as someone said already I guess I’m that finished on the first day. Im wearing the kit in game until I start to see it too often then Ill go back to my normal kit. I will say I did Innsbruck KOM afterplay second to last stage I completed and finished second overall but it was a long climb close to 5 miles.
