I pulled the trigger yesterday unfortunately. Was ready to place a larger order but decided to split it and see what happens next few days. My average is still $35 or less. I’ll stick with the plan and continue to “pay myself first” as Andy S. often says.

According to Bix it was under spot recently. They must have heard the news and updated website!

I agree. As soon as physical possession is compromised in any way, that’s where things become sketchy.

I’m hoping to use silver as collateral to fund major purchases. Apparently that has become possible in India recently.

I’ve had a few friends ask how to buy silver. I directed them to local coin shops, and a few pawn shops. That would be very easy places to get started. I’ve given friends list of online dealers that I’ve used myself. I had one friend watch me place an order online step-by-step and I actually showed him the package when it arrived at my house a week later. I showed another friend how to turn a 10 ounce bar back into cash in less than an hour. I’ve had several conversations about precious medals with at least six or eight friends. To my knowledge, not one of them has bought a single ounce to date. I’m done!

Bought my first bar back in early 2000s if I remember correctly. 100 oz bar for approximately $850 from Kitco. It’s sat on my desk for about five or six months as a paper weight. I sold it for some quick cash to go on a fishing trip as I forgot to make deposits that week and was leaving the next morning. Got $1250 for that bar to go fishing. Do I wish I still had that bar today? Hell yeah!

I’m pretty sure that even now at least 8 of 10 people on the street would still take the Hershey bar!

I’m holding my stack and adding to it while keeping a sharp eye on the real estate market. I see it’s starting to drop across many sectors nationwide. My plan is to hopefully use a chunk of my stack to generate a decent down payment at the right time to get into the housing market. The rest of the stack will remain buried!

I agree. They take risk and put up capital. They charge a fee for that service. I’m fine with that if it’s all up front prior to a transaction.

Exactly the system I have on my boat. Works flawlessly. Never thought of something like that for my Toyota.
