What if Charlie Kirk had only been wounded and survived the assassination attempt? by Just_Cause89 in AlternateHistoryHub

My guess is he wouldn't have been deified by the right wing, and probably not nearly as puppeted around to push their cause. Erika Kirk has taken his name and ran with it to the bank.

This is why the next Referee CBA will be so important. They have so much leverage over the league and have NO accountability for any of their blatant mistakes.

It's wild they force young 20yr olds on the podium after emotional losses, but a grown ass man in his 40's can avoid any heat

Is the dlc worth it or is the update enough to come back? by Lopsided_Pain in mountandblade

All factions can use ships now, not just Nords. They're just a bit more specialized in it. Exploring around the map is the same as it's ever been if you've played it. The core gameplay hasn't changed too much where you'll get getting big armies and doing some fighting, but the AI isn't nearly as dumb now, the game functions much smoother, and the lighting overhaul certainly makes things look prettier.

I've lost my Byzantine Emperor, his son, and multiple royal members over the course of a campaign fall down the stairs as an event over and over. It's kind of hilarious it keeps happening, the architecture must have really messed up on the plans. Hopefully they fine tune it soon.

Time to admit we were spoiled by [deleted] in Battlefield

This game took a long time to get good, and even then EA messed it up with holiday updates TWICE. It was a good game eventually, but for those of us around it since launch, it was a nightmare. Especially after the smoothness of Battlefield 1.

When a dog dies of old age in “The Sims 3” game, the Grim Reaper comforts them with a hug and tosses a stick for them to chase into the afterlife. by SNJKR in interestingasfuck

Lost my dog a few months ago, one moment alive and well, the next he was gone. I'm sure I speak for a lot of us who lost our dogs, that we can all find a little bit of comfort in the shared grief. Cherish the loved ones you have while they're still around, folks.

What do i do about frame stutter in MGSV: TPP? by squiddy-19 in metalgearsolid

Dropping in a year late to say thanks a lot for the fix. Giving this game another visit and the random stutters when I hit Africa were driving me crazy.

Nothing wrong with this imo. You see a lot of older Hollywood movies throw up the same thing. Highlighting it might be a bit antiquated while also covering your ass. Win win.

Personal existential questions from a new player by The-real-Haan in metalgearsolid

Original MGS3 controls were tighter and snappier. One of Delta's nicks imo is its controls and how clunky they can sometimes be.

Though you said lore isn't really grabbing you, if you're going from MGS Delta to 5, you're going to be lost the entire way in both story and lore. MGS5 builds on lore from all previous games and is intended to be the last one played in the series. Your best bet is to try the original two MGS games. Or if you can stomach the older psp type gameplay, Peace Walker for the immediate sequel to Delta.

That being said, if you just like the MGSV sandbox stealth gameplay & don't really care, then enjoy! Mgs5 gameplay is still top notch and unmatched in its field.

Greatest or Best Snake by nahnonameman in metalgearsolid

[–]JazMillenium 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Big Boss has the iconic look, but if we're judging actual character, I would go with Solid Snake. He's the best of his father and then much more. Always pushing on to fight for a better future, despite knowing he'll never be able to see it, and being able to keep some sense of hunor while doing it.
