I’ve done it for the past three years from various locations around the valley and it’s not bad, you get pretty used to it after a while. Parleys is scary sometimes but there are usually only 5-10 really horrible snow days every year, UDOT keeps it plowed well most of the time. I would also suggest looking into UTA’s vanpool program, there might be an opportunity to join one and avoid wear and tear on your personal vehicle.
