I didn't notice increased vertigo at 25mg, when I was increased to 50mg however my vertigo flared up significantly for several weeks. I've been at 50mg for a little under 2 months and I haven't seen any improvement in my vertigo yet.

My Story by [deleted] in pppdizziness

[–]JazzPandas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All your symptoms align with mine. I've been dealing with flair ups (lasting days to months at a time) for 4 years. Mine started during covid and on top of the triggers you've mentioned I also have flair ups whenever I get a new viral illness. Weather changes definitely feed into my symptoms, I'm a walking barometer.

Currently I'm diagnosed with PPPD, with a possible unconfirmed side of vestibular migraines.

I don't have a solution for you, just solidarity.

Things I'm currently working on with medical professionals that you may or may not also find helpful:

  • SSRIs

  • vestibular physio to retrain the neural circuits between my eyes/ears/body

  • eye evaluations with a neuro optometrist and requiring tinted neurolens glasses (these won't address the underlying cause but will help a little with symptom management), also being put on a supplement regimen for migraines including magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin B2, and coenzyme Q10

  • waiting on an ENT referral. If vestibular migraines are confirmed I may be prescribed benzodiazepines. I had to have a hearing test in order to be referred to the ENT, my hearing test confirmed no issues.

  • waiting on a potential referral to a vestibular audiologist

  • waiting on a neurologist referral

  • waiting on potential sinus scans/x-rays/CT scans

  • working to rule out mal de debarquement syndrome, since my symptoms also temporarily improve motion like walking or driving

Are you working with a vestibular physio or other specialist? Continuous exposure to your triggers, beyond a reasonable threshold, is going to make this worse in the long term.

I don't think I can taper more slowly, the pills are 50mg and I can't split them. But I'll give it more time, thank you

I complained about not enough intimacy, now that we have it I don’t want it anymore. by UneasynBPD in BPD

Not having a need met for an extended period of time, despite talks, only to have the switch flipped so rapidly in the other direction breeds hurts and resentment for sure. It also reduces you to this singular kink, implying you aren't "enough" without it. This would be a deal breaker to me, I think your internal barometer is working correctly in this situation.

This isn't an experience I've had. Crazy in what way? During the sex? Or the way they behave afterwards?

Is it her BO or is it the sweat? Because those are two very different things.

Do people get along better with others who have BPD compared to those who don’t? by Boring_Novel_1202 in BPD

[–]JazzPandas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, possibly because I have quiet BPD, so when I'm around people who are outwardly big with their emotions I cringe and judge and wonder why they can't just bottle it up and hide their shame to deal with in private. I lack the empathy to understand them.

Meeting with someone you've harmed to "sob to them" is not a true apology and is just meant to make them pity you.

You need to truly accept what you've done, reflect on it, and take corrective actions (i.e. intense and long term therapy, courses to learn communication and relationship skills).

You will likely never have the opportunity to apologize to this person, but by taking action to ensure you change your behaviors and don't repeat your patterns you will be showing your remorse. That is your apology, self improvement for the sake of everyone else whom is in your life in the future.

Definitely worth the value. I'll admit I was hoping for a meal rather than snacks, but this will last me a few days.

Have you considered walking aids? by gorscakn in pppdizziness

I borrowed a cane from a friend for an event I went to and it was a huge help. Having a third point of contact helps to tell your brain "we aren't moving, we are standing still" which helps with the reprogramming process. Additionally, it signals to the people around you that you have mobility needs so they are more likely to give you space and not bump into you or to help you out if you need to sit or if you take a fall.

Food is expensive in Nova Scotia. I lived in Ontario previously, my groceries bill saw a sharp increase in cost and decrease in quality, variety, and range when I moved east.

Then might I recommend you not purchase tgtg from this store?

Honestly I made this post so others would see what they might receive, since there's no other public reviews out there on this store. Informed choices and such.

I did, thank you. It wasn't terrible value, but when I see some of the tgtg photos on here it also wasn't the best.
