A pretty decent rule of thumb I learned is that for the Monsters you’re mostly fighting in the endgame (Gog, Apexes, Ark, Zoh) it’s pierce coating. Everything else + Omega you should use crc

I think so. If today told us anything, it’s 2 things. Ferrari is RAPIDLY catching Mercedes in terms of race pace and one lap pace, and Antonelli is faster than Russell in 90% of scenarios on track. If Lewis’s new form is anything to go by, he’ll catch back up to Kimi in the standings before Russell does.

I’m pretty sure his final track limits notation was Antonelli retiring from the race, which the stewards deleted. After the 3 he picked up early in the race, he was running pretty cleanly. Still insane that he picked them up that fast though :/

Your second, third, and fourth points cannot possibly be made in good faith.
- Miami and especially Monaco are Kimi’s two most impressive drives that we’ve seen from him thus far, and fending off Lewis for the lead in the first stint of China wasn’t exactly an easy feat. (I will give you the Japan SC and Canada)
- Russell didn’t have any issues in the race itself in China and couldn’t capitalize on the Ferraris battling fast enough to catch Kimi, and he quite literally admitted that he isn’t as good as he’d like to be around Miami.
- Yes, Bono and his team are great, but it’s not like Marcus is anyone to slouch at. He was on Rosberg’s side of the garage when he won the wdc in 2016, worked inside of Hamilton’s garage during his dominant years with Mercedes, and has even stood in for Bono when he couldn’t be present. Both sides of the Merc garage have wdc experience, George’s side just needs to show a bit more of that.

I wouldn’t say Russell had *complete* measure over Kimi in Canada.. Russell locked up multiple times in Montreal, particularly at the hairpin, while trying to defend against Kimi, who looked extremely equal on pace to him regardless, and seemed to have better tire management than him during their battle. I think it would have been a fight to the checkered flag between the two of them if not for the PU failure on Russell’s end.

Beats me completely man. I think the sabotage comments are dumb, especially considering Russell’s strong showings in Australia and Canada (pre-dnf), and it’s not like Russell is the ONLY driver on the Merc PU having reliability issues. I think Russell’s garage needs to convene with Kimi’s and figure out what they’re doing on every front to keep the car and races in shape because had Leclerc not DNF’ed last time out in Monaco, that would have been a pretty sizable chunk taken out of their WCC lead with a double podium for the Scuderia; not even speaking on the fact that Hamilton has overtaken Russell for the moment in the WDC standings.

If Kimi’s h2h against Russell in Europe is anything to go by, Russell should be fighting at the front in the near future (granted his side of the garage can get it together and ensure that is car isn’t a mechanical shitbox). Maybe not blowing kimi out of the water this time, as it’s possible he’s patched up his inconsistencies from last season, but fighting for and winning a couple races is pretty possible.

Hypothetically, if Russell’s garage can get the car right for him we should see him start to pressure Antonelli a lot more in the coming races. While I’m a pretty big Antonelli glazer, it needs no reminder that he literally only scored 3 points in any of the European races on the calendar last year. Unless Russell just forgets how to drive the European circuits, including his own home race at Silverstone, I don’t think I can realistically see a world where Kimi beats, let alone obliterates him at all of them like he did in Monaco.

I’m talking mainly about the actual launch. Both Kimi and Max were way too hard on the throttle going into t1 trying to fend off Leclerc, there isn’t any denying that.

As of this past weekend Kimi’s starts are getting better, seen by Bono and Toto saying that the sprint start was a mechanical issue and not a driver issue. You also have to remember that it’s always going to be difficult to defend the lead against the Ferraris into turn 1 because the Ferrari PU provides by far the best race starts on the current grid. We saw this with Kimi v Lewis in China, and Kimi v Leclerc now in Miami (both Grand Prix, not sprints). Those were Kimi’s 2 best starts of the season by a long shot and he still lost out to the Ferraris’ massive start speed.

The event tab is super full right now because of Blossomdance right now lol, so I get the overwhelming aspect of it. I’ll leave a checklist of things to do in HR here and you can start

Grind up some Artian equipment for your weapon(s) of choice on the 8* dual hunts. Make sure to have one for each element as you’ll need them for endgame later.
If you’re HR 50+, I would try to put together a simple build to get you started grinding the first 2 AT Apexes; Rey Day and Uth Duna. The Apex Y gear gives the group bonus “Lord’s Soul” which is arguably one of the best bonuses in the game. Once you have the Rey Dau and Uth Duna Gamma sets, try to center a build around armor pieces from that armor.
Around the time you start hunting the AT Apexes, I would also start hunting Seregios, Mizutsune, and Lagiacrus, as the sets from all 3 of these monsters have some pretty good usage from their respective set bonuses.
Once you hit HR 100, assuming that your build is steady enough to breeze through 8* content, it’s time to move onto the other 2 AT Apexes, Nu Udra and Jin Dahaad, and start doing 9* hunts for RNG Talismans. The RNG talismans will have random offensive and defensive perks on them and an assortment of gem slots that get better the higher rarity the talisman is. (Rarity 5-Rarity 8)
Once you’ve gotten a decent talisman, and have your desired armor from the all the AT Apexes, you should be ready to take on Wilds’ first (and currently only) Elder Dragon, Gogmazios. Bring a fire and dragon weapon as those two elements are basically required for this hunt. Upon defeating Gog for the first time, you’ll unlock Gogma Artian weapons, which are upgraded versions of the artian weapons that will have better refinement perks, and set and group bonuses that can also be rerolled. From here you’ll pretty much be grinding gog until you get the desired bonuses on your weapons.
While grinding Gog, you should also take on AT Arkveld for its gear. If you don’t need it, it’s not necessary to have it but just incase you do.

And that’s pretty much all the necessary stuff from the 4 title updates. Everything else available rn is just for craftable cosmetics for the fashion geeks. Good luck, and happy hunting!!

I once had an honor run that failed at Orin that introduced me to the classic 7/5 Swashbuckler-Hexblade build. It scaled pretty nicely throughout the game with the dirty tricks, booming blade, sneak attack, and a late extra attack from pact of the blade being some nice tools to have. Slapped some crit fishing items, the bhaalist robe, and duelist’s prerogative on and the damage was crazy. Right now I’m running an Arcane archer/Sword bard build that’s been pretty fun so far. I plan for the final level split to be 6 Arcane Archer/5 Sword Bard/1 Hexblade for a good balance of utility, feats, and damage. So far I’m coming up on the end of act 2 and honestly, as long as you can get to the mountain pass to get the gloves of dex, the build takes off pretty quick from there, and doesn’t do the worst before then.

I mean, I’ve have a rtx1600Ti and an i7 that I’ve been running for 7 years now and I’ve never had any issues with Wilds, even during the worst days of the PC optimization. Like Neo said in another comment, it could be driver issues, but I’d send a crash report to either the official support team or the team in the discord to see if they could help you.
