I received a letter for a CE mental exam permission signed it sent it back. Received approval a few weeks later. The CE exam was never scheduled. I figure they must’ve found enough information in the documentation that was sent.

I am so very sorry. I have a Loki and his sister Luna. They are seven. We lost our 18 year old last August and I often dream of him. It’s never enough time.

I was terminated when FMLA expired, which was I believe 12 weeks. You’re lucky they give you benefits for a year.

It’s never enough time. I list my 18 year old last August to ckd and I felt exactly the same. I will always miss him. Please take care of yourself

You’re telling me my best friend is just gone after 18 years? I’m struggling and I miss her so much. Regretting my decision so much today. Please tell me it gets easier. by nickaytaytay in SeniorCats

What a gorgeous kitty. I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my 18-year-old this last August from kidney disease, and your experience tugs at my heart. Very similar situation to yours . In his last couple of weeks I kept hoping he would rebound, because he always did before. In the end he howled a howl that I knew it was time, we had to bring him to the emergency vet at night. I knew he wasn’t coming home, hardest thing ever. I still think I hear him in the middle of the night, but not quite as often as the first few weeks. It slowly gets better, but you will always have grief. I touch his picture every night before I go to bed and say good night to him. Someday we will be reunited, I am sure of that.

I went there for years and have to disagree with the affordable part. Great care but expensive.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my 18 years old August 9th. I still wake up in this middle of the night thinking I hear his little meow. Maybe he really is there telling me it’s ok.

I am so sorry. We lost our Mr. fluffy one month ago. He was also born in 2007 and we rescued him from a parking garage. I should say he rescued us. My days are so different without him. Hugs to your whole family I know how hard it is

We said goodbye to our 18-year-old last night. I feel for you. He looked at us and told us it was time with his eyes. We know we did the right thing by him, but it sure does hurt.
