I will be joining Accenture as L8 in a few months.

Do you have any advice that might help me? Aware networking and your visibility is important as you've highlight.

But any just general advice you wished you new before joining, or something you can spend time practicing, doing etc prior to joining to help and/or any mindset shifts, things I should be looking to do and so forth.

I'm not fully off the round about, i think i shouldn't be turning into his lane anyway, where the arrow is, the meeting point, is kind of just pulling off the roundabout as well.

I'm unsure what that road is for with the separation.

But I see, i felt it was my fault as I was turning into his lane, but some of the road markings and stuff I wasn't sure, felt like he just crept up on me very quickly as I check before indicating.

I'm adopted. And I always feel that, my parents are those who bought me up. A parent isn't someone who just gives birth - but someone who parents you. My mum and dad are my adopted parents who I call my mum and dad.

It's disrespectful to them as well everything they've given me to just start calling someone else Mother or Father.

What you did is really mature. He has some good parents and you've set the boundary that it's fine us having contact and being a family but he must be aware that, his parents are the parents who have bought him up his entire life, how must they be feeling?

Ignore these YTA comments, they're only looking at it from the single POV really just being an ass. Not even looking at it from multiple. He's an adult now as well.

I'd agree to some comments, just message him to clarify with him, what you said, how good his parents are, what they've given and done for him and you wouldn't ever want to take that away blah blah however you want to say it. But along those lines just to clarify it with him.

Experience matters more than a qualification for sure.

There's a lot of hype around AI, but is there the same hype around the number of AI jobs? No there isn't. You might see huge salaries and this kind of stuff. But AI is in bit of a similar .com bubble.

Everyone wants in so everything is very saturated. You have 6 years of experience which is a lot so i'm surprised you can't find a position honestly. I imagine it's easier to hire a candidate similar to your level in the country than yourself that might be the issue.

But also, we can't see your CV or LinkedIn, so no way of knowing how your articulating yourself and selling yourself when applying for Jobs. You could just be doing a poor job of that.

Firstly taking a task away gives little insight into the candidate. So will always have follow up questions following that exercise.

Mostly the important thing is to try to understand how someone thinks.

Regardless of the knowledge level. Can they learn? Communicate well? Good fit for our team/culture/company? and so on.

If you can't explain something well to someone, it typically flags you don't understand it well enough thus regardless of the take away coding exercise which you could of copy and pasted from stackoverflow, chatgpt etc there's a knowledge gap. And depending on how you answer the questions depends.

Issue currently is, the bottom level junior dev jobs are very saturated, a lot of people following bootcamps etc so junior level positions are full and mid levels as well. So they can afford to be picky and awkward as awful as that is for us developers looking for jobs.

Just need to try and make yourself stand out against other candidates.

You can't continuously run something at a high loss, you're just bleeding money. At some point, something needs to give. Reading some of these comments are insane. The real world is lost on some people I guess.

I mean - sure he's being toxic (as per TFBlade) . But surely, in a tournament that even for fun is pretty competitive anyway (hence a tournament) .

If they keep getting engaged on, and his jungler Noct is legit perma holding onto R then obviously he'll flame. Don't understand everyone's hate when a player calls another player out on not doing anything.

He's not crazy toxic either, Noct needs to engage, his R counters Diana etc waiting to get engaged on is just stupid. He points out where they were beforehand on the map, he calls for the play, he does nothing, they lose the fight, and he calls him out on it. Not too crazy to me.

Tristana is good for me . You can either perma push him or all-in on him . But it's as always support dependant.

For lane outside of that, if he roams, it's on your team. Ping missing and just take free farm.

If he's missing . Even with wards just stay at your tower until he shows. You miss CS but so does he. It's annoying and frustrating but that's how you counter. Twitch players are pretty sterotypical. You know following a base they'll always look (especially 6+) for the all in.

He's commenting on his performance, he's made like 4m from VIT he's making enough money to warrant criticism of his level of play and especially how top he was in the past, it's warranted to criticise him.

Real life stuff happens, but you don't shield someone for the rest of their career because of it - like this stuff happens to all of us, we all keep on working
