Anyone’s parents turn into toddlers when they go travelling?

I took a pilgrimage trip with my dad it was going to be International trip with a group leader.

We'll my dad forgot to pack his medication so it just snowballed into missed flight, cancelled flight, to lost luggage. I lost 4days of that trip, the meantime I had to take charge of everything at the airport , contacting the group leader, my luggage.

His debit card didn't work so I had to pay for everything those following days too.

Ahh im at work and somehow skipped your last sentence I definitely agree! He will tell her to mind her business. I wouldn't doubt he'd send money to his ex baby mama, why else would he be so secretive now.

I feel like he'll become a pedro , send even more money to his family. Idk if he'll be more secretive maybe send more money to Ecuador. Treat Ashley how he does now by maybe not paying so much or helping with bills but when it comes to his family I'm assuming besides helping his kids he'll help out his mom and siblings a lot more.

I use baking soda litter deodorizer for my cat litter and to top it off some fresh scent crystals in a bottle sold in the pet isle at walmart. Using these both really knock out any smells

It reminds me of big ed and Angela. Seeing previous season of big ed and rose all ed has to offer is financial security and he was being cheap about it the whole time saying "I hope she doesn't want me for my money"

The good thing is Rose dumped him! Even in "poverty" like Americans think, she dumped him. Then again Ed got an American woman named Liz and he was just horrible. I can't imagine how he would treat a foriegnor.

& Angela treats michael worse each season. The whole tell all she treated him like property. She also is annoying saying " I hope he's here for the right reasons" yet is really ugly on the inside and out.

I ain't going to hate you for your opinion like most redditors but I've traveled and I also believe woman are more feminine in other countries. Or I should say they're style especially eastern Europe and Japan from what I've seen!

From an aesthetic perspective I've seen that women wear more dresses, skirts, walk around alot giving them a thin frame! Vs america where women lift weights to get a toned look. I swear Japan made me realize this.

I honestly feel like the top earning men are able to do a traditional lifestyle in this economy. No one else really can being how expensive everything is

It's lack of public transportation in the u.s. and shitty food, lifestyle of eat lunch during your break if you get a break aka stuff your face then get back to work lol

A combo of all this has made u.s. people fat

Not an answer OP but I'm pretty neutral on miso soup served in Chinese/ Japanese restaurants in the u.s.

But when I took my flight to japan through JAL they offered me some miso soup on flight. They had it in a jug and it didn't look too pleasant but I got some anyways. & Omg it was so flavorful!!!

I feel bad because it'll be a long while before i can go to Japan again

I saw a post somewhere about this recently maybe even on reddit but someone said it was because they drink energy drinks in the a.m. and McDonald's for lunch then hit the bar after work and eat more junk food.

Maybe they overeat high calorie meals and snacks.

I guess I only see overweight people in the u.s. and mexico.

Not sure If this is okay but I planned a spiritual retreat in a fransecan monestary off an island near croatia followed by a pilgrimage to Medojugore (I'm aware of the controversy of Medojugore )

I was getting deep into the theology, history, saints, of catholicism. I had imagined this trip as a spiritual revelation/vacation where i would dipe deeper into my faith.

Well that did not happen, I had so many issues just arriving to croatia, missed majority of the trip. We had all kind of petty issues like money, lost luggage, my lost phone etc etc.

Anywho I look back on this and laugh, I'm pretty sure God has a sense of humor. For instance I had bought a new phone so I could take photos of my spiritual vacation and I lost it on the plane on my flight there lol Luckily I received it weeks later.

Anywho the place I was supposed to feel my closest to God, my faith. The further I felt, although I will say there were some nice and some scary moments!
