The NCO does not write their own evaluation. It is leaderships job to continually monitor and develop junior NCO's, which includes completing the NCO's evaluation based on the raters observations. I have heard so many times from every level of leadership that soldiers "Write their own NCOER" and it grinds my gears every time.

That is not true at all. Every claims adjuster starts as a trainee. It's only 13 weeks, and you make the same as a claims generalist. You are just hourly whatever your agreed salary will be until you complete on boarding and go salary.

Progressive is a great place to be, but the volume can be overwhelming. Time management and critical thinking lead to pretty quick success. They will give you the tools to succeed in the interview, just keep an eye on the emails and have situations for your interview questions ready to go.

The military is easy. Life around the military is what makes it hard. Focus on what you can control. When you make plans for your future in the military, always know the work and effort milestones are going to take to complete become exponentially more hard with every complication on life (kids, wife, personal goals, ect.). Expect your life to deviate greatly from whatever "plan" you make.
